Can purchased at AJ's Beer Warehouse in Henrietta, NY.

This pours a nice and mostly clear yellow/orange, with a small head, and just a bit of lacing.

Smells like tea, earthy hops, wheat, and mild citrus.

This is suprisingly tame- I expected a bit more out of it. It's a wheat beer, so it doesn't need to be hoppy, but it's definitely marked as such. The tea flavor is interesting- never really gotten that out of Motueka hops before. It's got a pretty earthy, and suprisingly un-citrusy hop flavor to it, with a sort of cream of wheat flavor as well.

This is lighter bodied, a little bit crisp, with a small head.

I'm a bit disappointed in this one- didn't live up to the best versions of this style.

Really enjoyed these on my trip to Milwaukee 2 years ago, flew into Midway, hit Half Acre up first thing off the plane. Enjoyed the friendly banter with staff and hit this one up relatively early into my sessioning experience at the bar.

Pours a vibrant yellow with minimal cloudiness and a virgin white head 4/5". Aroma smacked of those juicy M hops. Very impressed, possibly the best part of the beer. Good dry and light mouthfeel maltwise, allows the hops to continue to shine. The artwork is pretty dope on the cans too. Those M hops continue to coax the senses with waves of tropical fruit and dry fresh cut grass but without all the allergic reactions. As far as pale wheat beers go, this is almost on the level of that Gumballhead tip.

on tap @ PJ Whelihans
yellow color with some haze.
lemony, grassy in the nose.
taste follows with the lemon, grass. wheat malts go well and keep bitterness low
light bodied for sure with medium carb. clean finish, assuming due to the wheat
nice wheat ale with an ample kick of light citrusy hops.
Not surprised with finding another winner from Half Acre.

16oz can. Served in a snifter glass.

Pours a slightly hazy medium orange body, one finger white head, good retention, lots of lacing. Smells of grain, touch of spice, citrus and a bit of caramel and toffee. Smells crisp and resinous. Flavour is however a bit watery; not so much sweetness, a slightly astringent bitter citrus peel and rind going on the finish. Minimal graininess. Not much sweetness backing it up. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, somewhat watery, fair bit of carbonation, crisp and even a bit of resin. Overall, somewhat disappointing as I was hoping for more hop flavour as the aroma promises, but it falls fairly short of the likes of Daisy Cutter and other offerings from Half Acre.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a hazy golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big two finger white head which settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A juicy and grassy hop forward aroma with a scent of citrus fruit, grass, and wheat grains. Upfront citrus hop scent of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and pineapple. Earthy hop hints of grass and pine. Malt scent of wheat, grains, and cracker with yeast. A pretty solid aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and grassy hop driven taste with notes of citrus, grass, and wheat grains. Juicy citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, and lime with some pineapple. Earthy hop notes of grass and slight pine resin. Malt notes of wheat, grains, and cracker along with some yeast. A pretty nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, juicy, and drying on the finish.

Overall: A very good hop forward Wheat ale. Good juicy hop presence with a moderate body.
