I’ve been going to the Lincoln tap room/store for about 8 years as part of my annual holiday road trip. I really enjoyed my trip there a few days ago. The tap room was warm and cozy in a modern way. Service was prompt and helpful. Love that they can have some brewery only offerings now too since their flagships are made at a different site. Really love what they’ve grown into at this location

6/16/18: Have picked up bottles from the adjacent store in the past, sat down to have a 20 ounce Beer Hates Astronauts. Small room, I sat at the bar, tables are spread in the tight room. Nice crowd for early Saturday evening. Excellent service despite the crowd, about a dozen draft offerings available in a sample and also in a small or large beer size. Very good selections, beer reasonably priced. Overall nice taproom and looking forward to a few more pours down the road.

Half Acre is in a tiny shop with a few long tables and an oddly shallow bar table. Concrete floors, push-pin signs, and live edge tables give this place a "hipster" feel. The high ceiling helps deaden some of the noise inside this tiny space. Finding a place to sit, especially as a solo adventurer was tough. The staff was helpful and friendly. Beer selection spans their flagships with a few limited beers both on tap and served from the bottle. Selection was mostly hoppy offerings, so for those seeking darker beers, they may want to visit somewhere else. An adjacent store sells 4 packs and large format wild ales to go, along with some growlers, and general merchandise. It's all located in a cool and hip part of town. Maybe a 10 minute walk from the Brown line for the L. Nice stop.

V- Nice taproom feel. They are very strict on how many people can be in the taproom at a time, so you never feel crowded.
Q- Always have the regulars and usually at least one specialty beer. Beer is always fresh and I enjoy the house yeast.
S- You can sit at the bar and be served by the bartender or a table and have a server. Either way the service is fast and helpful.
Selection- On top of whatever they have on tap, you can head next door to the growler fill station and have samples of everything. It helps you decide what you want in the taproom and helps prevent duds.
F- Haven't had it so can't comment. It's gourmet burritos which definitely look good.

If you're in Chicago, Half Acre is a MUST. Not only does this place serve great beer but they sell it at a great price. The vibe is casual and the staff is laid back (in a good way). I think the best thing they have going for them is their growler station. They have around 12 different beers on tap to fill up your vessel and the cool part is a lot of the beers here aren't made in large quantities so they always have something new to try. I came in with my cousin one time and the guy behind the bar let him sample EVERY single beer on tap, super nice. Their taproom is cool but a little small, it gets packed at night which is great for business but sometimes can get annoying to be so cramped. Over all this place rocks and their beer is super dope so definitely check it out.
