This taproom is a MUST visit. Half Acre has been my favorite Chicagoland brewery for quite a while. The people are really great. The new taproom is BEAUTIFUL. They always have a lot of special things in the taproom, and they have Firken Fridays! Visit this brewery if you visit Chicago.

Beer was delicious and spot on...albeit a bit heavy on the hoppy side of things. Big Hugs, Vintage 2015, was on the menu but stamped as sold out...BUMMER. Music was a tad loud, but Im getting close to 40 FWIW. It was packed but a Saturday afternoon...would love to stop in here during a more chill time period...if there is one? Def a must stop if on the North Side of Chi-town. BTW, the food was awesome.

Cool spot, on the small side though. I was there ahead of a concert at the Aragon, and it was packed. We were relegated to a spot along the wall crowding some diners on a bench. Great beer, great vibe though. 12 or so tap selections.

Such great beers at this place. They really need more space for those 'weekend' crowds.

Very small location NW of Wrigleyville, smaller than you'd expect for the predominance of Half Acre beer in Chicagoland. Lots of beers on draft, and of the 10 I sampled, only 1 was a miss. I didn't try a burrito (half of their food menu is dedicated to burritos), but the hush puppies were truly awe-inspiring. A signature dish. Nachos and house chips were just OK. Overall quite affordable.

Growler fills are a bit tricky here. Even though they advertise filling non-HA growlers, you're better off just buying/using theirs. I was 0-fer with the 2 I brought, and the kid at the filling station was a bit condescending.

Nice taproom. Clean, comfortable. I sat at the bar and ate a burrito. Good selection of their brews on tap and a few bottle and can options.

They have high quality beer available in small or large pours. The food is presented nicely and is good quality.

Service was great, attentive and informative. Great vibe.

Stopped here on a Thursday night, it was crowded but we were able to get a table after a few minutes of standing around. The taproom is a bit on the small side and probably could stand to be bigger based on the crowd we encountered. The service was surprisingly good, especially considering how busy they were. The beer selection is good with quite a bit of variety on tap and it seems like they rotate through many of them. The beer quality is good, but not exceptional, everything I had was solid but nothing was memorable, daisy cutter is still the best thing I have had from them. The food was excellent, very nice neauveau gastropub fare. Definitely worth a stop and not far from several other worthy Chicago beer spots.
