look: 3.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

Poured into a hybrid glass from a 16oz can

A - a cloudy unfiltered looking orange golden/straw, one finger fluffy white head and a bit of lacing

S - tons of citrus fruit both sweet and sour, pilsner like yeast, crisp, sweet malt/grain, nice floral notes, sugar sweet and more sweet hoppy goodness.

T - lots of orange juice up front, some lemon lime mixed in, tons of rind, really nice hop bite, light pilsner like yeast, sweet flowers, sweet and dry malt/grains, slight green earth, a touch of dank and just super bitter in an awesome way

M - medium minus body, nice complexity, nice balance, medium plus acidity, medium carbonation and a fruity hoppy experience from start to finish

D/O - really juicy, really clean and crisp and quite refreshing. Yet another beer that hits the orange juice taste, really interesting that this has become such a trend but it doesn't seem to be flailing so I am getting used to it -- it's not like it's a bad thing anyway, just different. Great with some pork chops and f. McClintock beans, yum. Don't age or sip.

Final thoughts - I am not sure of the price as it was a gift but the taste is clean, nice and refreshing the ABV is what you'd expect for a session ale/IPA at 4.5% but better tasting then anything BMC can put out with that percentage. Spring summer on tap, yes please...

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a stiff hazy burnt orange color with a nice level finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a fair pace. Sly lace ran here and there.
The aroma had a ton of sweet to bitter resin to pulling sweet pine and bitter citrus rind, somewhat like orange juice, but having an accompanying sort of earthy to floral hop quality in underneath.
The flavor was juicy bitter and pulling in the sweetness fairly nice with a substantial sort of bittersweet aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with not much of a sessionable quality about it. Odd, but alright, this is supposed to be a session IPA but anyways, the carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as intended by the brewer.
Overall, well, the aroma and flavor are absolutely awesome, but the mouthfeel was a bit heavier for a "session IPA." I think I'd have again for me, but fans of true "session IPA's" might be in for more than they want with this one.

Sierra Grille is tied for tops.

A- Poured from the draft to an 8oz glass for my half pour with a semi hazed yelloe body. Small white cap with decent retention leads to drizzled lacing.

S- Fairly faint overall strength with hints of stone fruit and citrus. Slight oranges, mango and floral tones.

T- Stone fruit and tropical hops are up front but certainly not pungent or juicy. The mango, tangerine, orange, floral and pine notes are cut into by strong grainy cereal and pale raw barley notes. It is not sweet however.

MF- Crisp and borderline seltzer feel thanks to a very high carbonation but inside the realm of session beers. Frothy texture and slight bitter finish.

Zesty citrus and stone fruit driven with a very grainy finish. Reminiscent of All Day but somewhat creamier and less hop blast.

Pours a cloudy whitish/amber hue with a decent head and foam into my glass. I believe this is the first batch to be canned (5/17/16) so it's very, very fresh!

Vague citrus aroma upfront. A little agitation brings it forth some more with a definite mango aroma mated to bread.

Crisp with a hella decent mango undertone. "Juicy" due to the unfiltered nature.

Muddled finish still manages to please the tongue.

This might just work on a hot day after mowing the lawn. I think the Bohemian Pilsener does the job better but you can't go wrong here.

Enjoyed from the can.
Aromas are mild layers of hops and a surprising bit of malt present as well.
Flavor is what you would expect from a session IPA, mild hop flavor, mild bitterness very crushable.
Mouthfeel was surprisingly good.
Overall, it is what it is. Decent flavor, quenching.
