The unofficial name for this beer is “Super Glide”. Malty rich with a hint of spicy hops and roasted grains. This beer is one smooth ride with a clean finish! We brewed this one with American Pale, oats, flaked barley, black, chocolate, red malt, melandolin malt. American hops include Magnum, Centennial, Liberty and Crystal. Enjoy!

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.
Pours deep maroon roasty red. Some white foam atop but very thin. Deep malty smell, some caramel. Sweet toasty caramel. Good flavor that fades out without any real bite. Pick up some hop in the aftertaste. Lighter mouthfeel.
Good, but not remarkable.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a soft hazy burnt amber color with a slight transparency about it. Soft carbonation rises at a moderate pace. There’s no head nor lacing. The smell had a strong nutty to caramel maltiness overlaying a rich toffee blend. Light cocoa backs it up decently. The flavor is basically the same with a lingering sweet nutty aftertaste leading to a dry nutty finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly smooth. A nice rolling nuttiness scampers over my tongue in a dry fashion. Overall, it’s a decent American Red ale. Everything fits for the style, it’s just nothing over the top.

Bought up at Vermont at a cider mill store in Waterbury, VT. The beer pours with a murky, more brown than amber-red color and a thin head. Aromas include a good piece of malt mixed with dark fruits, caramel, a bit of a bread. Taste is a little bittersweet from a bready malt flavor and some minor spice. Nice carbonation to this beer; helps to give a good crispness to its body. Overall, I enjoyed the mouthfeel the most to this beer.

Clear copper/amber color with a small off- white head that disappears quickly.
The aroma is toasty malt with a hint of caramel.
The taste is toasted bread with just hints of caramel and chocolate, mild earthy hops check in at the finish.
Medium bodied, smooth and decently drinkable.
Overall, a very decent red ale.

Rusty copper in color (I know that copper does NOT rust).
The finger of head dissipated rather quickly. The nose was malty and the flavor is malt forward. The finish is a bit weak, which is a bit of a downer.

Malty grainy nose. Mild hop finish, but a little watery. Not as good as I remember.
