What a pleasant surprise. So my girlfriend suggested we go here last night and I of course agreed. I was expecting to be sipping on some coke all night because I was for sure they had nothing to offer my craft brew tastes, oh was I wrong. They have 14 taps with the like of sierra Nevada, Samuel Adams, and the usual bar fodder (there were other taps as well I just can't remember). But the real good stuff is in bottles. I had a Samuel Smith oatmeal stout, bells Oberon, and a thirsty dog old leghumper, oh and I almost forgot a chimay blue! There belgion selection is unmatched in the northern Kentucky area as they even had delerium. Arrogant bastard, stone ipa, and bells two hearted are some others I can remember. All in all its a craft beer lo era dream sports bar. They have about ten huge HDTVs and the atmosphere is great. The layout is superb. They have an eating area bar area and seating behind the bar that really lets you choose what kind of night you want to have. The jukebox is great along with the friendly service. Food is great, get the steak Burger!

UPDATE:
After a few more months of frequenting this place my opinion has changed. I usually come out of there smelling like smoke, which I guess they can't help, but I still don't like it. The $2 beers I was so fond of have steadily deteriorated, getting more and more expired. It's not worth getting one of these cheap beers because it's so old you're not getting the true flavors of the beer. Even their regular-priced beers are expired half the time due to the low turnover. Once I thought I'd be safe and ordered a Guinness on tap that tasted worse than any other I've ever had. I'm almost positive the lines were dirty or the keg was old because something wasn't right. Also, none of the bartenders know anything about the craft beers and some don't even know what I want when I ask for a pint glass! So while I still go here every once and a while, it's not all that I hoped it could be.

There's not many places to go for beer around here, but Longneck's has one of the best selections of beer in the area. They always have a board of $2 beers that are microbrews or imports, but these bottles tend to be past the expiration date. Still, I have tried many new brews here. Even if you don't order from the the special menu, there's a decent selection. I usually go for the $2 beers to try something new, but have also had Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout and Hobgoblin among many others on the menu there. With a bunch of HDTV's and a good selection of beers, this is my go-to bar close to where I live.
