12 oz. can, pours a Rich deep darkest brown, minimal head, gone quick.
Smells of rich roast malt/chocolate note.
Tastes chocolate malty sweet while keeping a clean edge, with nice balance of richness, dryness. Feels rich but is light enough to have a couple easily. Has a Full medium feel, on a cool windy day.
Will seek and find more, for sure. A good chocolate porter that almost goes milk stout territory.
A+ but a little too sweet n thick to be perfect. #bigchocolate hello, big abv bonus!

12 ounce can, no dating that I was able to find on it. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like caramel malt, vanilla, milk chocolate and roastiness. For the most part I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with some dark bready flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a decent enough porter, worth a try if you come across a can. Have to thank my friend Denis for getting a can for me on a recent trip to NC.

Dec 2017....pours semi dark brown, off white creamy foam. Chocolate nose. Milk chocolate taste, bitter balanced in a gritty kind of way. Quite smooth, very clean porter.

From a 12 oz can.
Appearance: Quite nice looking clear red-brown body is notably lighter than expected. A semi-durable beige head that leaves ample sticky lacing.
Aroma: appealing, with lots of dark roasted grains and chocolate and some spicy hops.
Flavor: Dark roasted grains dominate; subtle hops although this is mildly bitter overall. Lingering, chocolate and dark bread in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: clean. with a slightly dry finish. The body is smooth and full. Near medium carbonation.
Overall: a clean, well-crafted porter.
