Hazy Yellow with a 2" white head, which lasts. Heavy lacing.
Aroma is floral. strong pine, grapefruit.
Taste is pine, grapefruit zest, lemon.
Medium body, light carbonation. Dry, resinous finish.
Surprised this is only rated 3.25. It's a good IPA.

Purchased as a single can from The Fresh Market for $1.78. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
L - Slightly hazy copper, with a two-finger fluffy eggshell head.
S - Pine resin, citron, and earth. An overall sweet floral note is present.
T - Extremely well-balanced! Follows nose exactly, with a pine & earth finish.
F - Medium-bodied, and with plenty of carbonation. Drinkable, for sure! Quite refreshing, too!
O - A fantastic example of a mountain IPA. Not a hop bomb, just bitter enough, and super drinkable. Keeping a pack of this in my fridge whenever possible. Highly recommend giving this one a try!

3 month old can pours a fabulous white rocky everlasting head on a golden, slightly hazy body with abundant carbonation traveling up through it. excellent.
Citrusy piney hops reach my nose up front then a caramel note. Not super strength aromas, but they are present.
Taste follows nose, with a fresh light feel of a local brew, not a mass produced one. A good tribute to a classic style.
Easily crushable and made right.

Crisp taste. Not so IPA-ish to me.

This beer is better than people think. I think the haze culture made people forget what IPAs are supposed to taste like. Heavy pine, myriad grapefruit, doughy bread... what is there not to love. Cheers, NC brewers. Keep doing your thing.

Pours a cloudy copper color with medium head.
Not much to the aroma, with a hoppy taste.
Mouth feel is kinda flat with pine overtones.
A drinkable IPA but not superior, would rate a Only if it is on sale on the would you like to sit down with a 12 pack of this beer scale

12 oz. can from regional WNC grocery. Poured into IPA glass, easily achieving a full rich foamy head, that lingers and leaves much lacing throughout the enjoyment.
Rich clear golden body accurately suggests old school malt fullness, and fresh piney citrusy hop aromas are lively.
Taste is fresh and clean, but not as citrusy or piney as nose, just really good clean bitter India pale ale goodness. It's bitter enough and clean, not too aggressive. Mineral water and floral/medicinal astringent property ; maybe pine resin...
Smooth and rich but not heavy.
Clean and almost session-able at 6.2%
Not sure why the rank is so low, other than it's not the trendy fruity sour haze thing.
I find it to be a decent ipa to sip occasionally
