This pours a golden hazy yellow with a nice creamy head. A yeasty, spicy aroma leads to a big wheat and spice taste. I can't place most of the herbs or spices with the glass I had but there is quite a bit to it. It has a thin but creamy mouthfeel and an almost tangy finish with a little hop lingering.

The herbs and spices are slightly overwhelming but they're not completely distracting and really still quite pleasant. I really liked the tangy finish and really wouldn't have minded having another one.

This is the latest in the series from Big Al, in which they have a local homebrewer come in and brew one of their recipes in the big system. The beer poured a pretty honey-gold color with a nice fluffy white head that had good retention and lacing.

The aroma is a very good combination of yeasty spice, semi-sweet malt and hop tartness. The taste is right there with the scent, a very tasty blend of flavors.

The body was light and smooth, perhaps a touch thinner than I would have liked, but I didn't gig the beer for it. Drinkability was very good you could easily have several of these, and I think I will.

Overall, a very nice take on the style, worth some effort to seek out.
