This beer is a sleeper!!! An excellent amber with a time of IPA. Kind of hippy but not overboard. Not overly bitter but just right. Great food beer!!!

On tap at the Town Dock today. Quite the tick for a special occasion IMO.

A clear copper with a dense, off-white head, creamy and long-lasting, leaving nice lacing. The nose is decent. More English than American, this has a blend of bready and caramel malts, and woody, leafy English hops. Mild yeast fruitiness as well. The palate opens moderately sweet and caramel like with a definite bready note. The hop level is quite low, with a rather middling-bitterness, a muddled hop flavor and a finish that really does go nowhere or do anything. Medium-light in body with a moderate carbonation, this beer is woody, leafy on the finish with a mild sweetness. Decent, but not really worthy IMO.

Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a large snifter glass.

A: Pours a clear amber hue with at thick, 2-finger, white head that quickly dissipates into in a wispy lace leaving a nice trail down the glass.

S: Slightly sweet malt aroma. Hints of caramel and hops in the background.

T: Smooth malty flavor that is more bitter than sweet.

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: This was Eastern Shore’s best beer out of the 3 I tried. It was smooth and refreshing.

A 12 oz bottle, another end-of-the-liner.

A: The APA is copper, a clear amber color. A thin white head, less than a quarter finger.

S: APA? Perhaps a savage version. I do detect just a bit of sourness running through it. An interesting aspect, to say the least. I can't say that there's any indication of a pale ale underneath.

T: The nose through me, as there's no indication of any off flavors in the taste. Run that one up your flagpole! What's here is malty, light and biscuity. Hops aren't much here, allowing the pale breads to drive the ale. A very mild bitterness is only evident late in each sip. No flash here (not many hops either).

M: The ale is nondescript; biscuity with only the faintest hop profile. The semi-wild nose may be the most interesting aspect.
