Pours amber with a large head.
Nose shows sweet malt, cookie dough notes, an apple cider character and stale grain. Better than this description suggests though.
Flavours mirror the aroma, but without the apple cider note. Very much and English pale ale rather than American.
Carbonation is too aggressive.

500ml bottle from Dan Murphy's, best before date of Feb 2015.

A - Honey coloured and crystal clear. Pours a thick 1 inch frothy white head that dissipates to a thin white lacing.

S - fruity aroma, apples and oranges, with a hint of spice. Faint cereal malts in the background.

T - Not overpowering. sweet biscuity malts mixed with faint pear and orange flavour. Bitterness is fairly light on and can only be detected at the very end.

M - Light to medium texture, slightly watery, moderate carbonation

O - Average. The aroma is pleasant, but that's not why I drink beer! Slightly bland taste. While it means easy drinking, the lack of hoppy bitterness is disappointing in what is an overly expensive beer.
