22oz bomber poured into a goblet.

A: A hazy orange / copper with thin one to two finger, carbonated off-white head.

S: Orange, apple cider, lemon, cinnamon, and a finish of dank pine and spruce. It's interesting how each time I went back for a sniff I picked up on different scents. At first it was really fruity and then became earthy and piney.

T: Slight orange citrus sweetness with tinge of dank hops that grows infinitesimally then fades out.

M: Creamy mouthfeel with a slight carbonation tingle. Sweetness comes up front. Hop bitterness only shows up at the back end and hangs around. Not overly bitter, but it just stanky, smoky, and warming enough that it has a nice finish.

O: First had this beer at the Boulder IPA festival and the flavor and bitterness were intense. This bottle didn't blow me away compared to the on-tap version, but it's still a good double, but not amazing.

Bottle purchased by a friend directly from the brewery. Seeing the ratings for this beer I can't help but wonder if the bottle I received is out of date or was exposed to extreme temperatures. Bottle consumed within 1 week of purchase. Surprisingly disappointed. Would like to give this one another shot in the future.

750 ml bottle, bottle number 198/12 (I think). Pours hazy copper orange with a monstrous rocky off-white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is big sugary tropical fruits with some dank hops and pine.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruits with a lot of piney dank bitterness. There's a bit of warming from the alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, an excellent DIPA. Slightly too sweet and alcoholic (and pricey at $17 a bottle).

A- Served in a tulip glass, clear amber with a light white head

S- Moderate pine hop aroma, some floral notes with a little sweetness

T- Floral hop and alcohol taste are strong at the front, sweet amber malt in the middle, warming mouthfeel, slightly dry-bitter finish, light lingering sweetness, excellent

M- Moderate carbonation, medium body, rolls smoothly off the tongue, slightly warming

O- I really enjoyed this brew, good balance of malt to hop, well presented and executed imperial, definitely worth trying if you're passing through the area and love a good, strong IPA

Draft (CO2), snifter

A – Medium amber, with some slightly gold hues. Off-white, even pinkish foam of an inch-plus with long retention. Very craggy. Beer is very clear.

S – Mango and papaya. Very light grapefruit. Some sweet caramel malt with light toffee. Light pear and green apple.

T – Definitely mango, guava, apples and pears. Lightly baked bread crust. Light caramel. Hops also contribute high hop bitterness.

M – Moderate to low carbonation, light sweetness and high bitterness. A juicy, but bitter finish.

O – Great flavor up front but the bitterness ends up a bit high, out of balance.
