Thanks, quirkzoo!

Cloudy golden throughout with a moderately-sized, somewhat persistent, near-white head that lasts for quite a while. Leaves large dots of stick down the glass. Pretty and appropriate.

A strong aroma especially for a beer of such low ABV. The floral lavender notes come through strongly, along with some other herbaceous notes, sweet wheat bread, mild Brett yeast character, and a bit of honey.

The flavor is similar to the aroma, as the lavender and floral notes make up the largest component of the flavor, along with sweet, honey wheat bread, mild yeast character, and some miscellaneous sweetness. I don't pick up any of the pumpkin addition, but perhaps that's part of the floral/herb/sweet component of the flavor. Moderate bitterness. Very drinkable.

Medium bodied with moderate, creamy carbonation. Very nice for a low-ABV saison.

An interesting, floral, lavender-forward saison. This was an incredibly drinkable, unique saison.

375ml bottle, @6.5% ABV - lots o' stuff going on in this one, and that's just from parsing the hard to read label! Also, great name!

This beer pours a hazy, bright medium golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, and mostly just fizzy dirty white head, which leaves pretty much nil in terms of lace anywhere near the glass as it quickly sinks away.

It smells of musty Brett funk, very floral lavender, earthy gourd flesh, gritty and grainy mixed malt, tart lemon peel, and a faint and generically vinous woodiness. The taste is grainy and bready malt, a still heady and estery dark floral thing, sweet pumpkin puree, some edgy pepper and coriander-like spice, a lessened sour funkiness, more zingy citrus notes, and a minor sense of red wine oakiness.

The carbonation is adequate in its zesty and palate-poking frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and sort of smooth, as those blended grains seem to have a placating effect on all the more testy players. It finishes off-dry, and nicely tart and fruity.

Overall, the mishmash of ingredients work well enough to provide a tasty version of the style - if you're looking for a pumpkin brew, move on, even though it represents itself here as charmingly as any other element. Easy to drink (a bit surprisingly), and yet I'm glad my sample came in a relatively smaller serving size.

Lots of retained head. The brett is potent in the aroma, and the taste. Lovely done, tasty saison. Above average mouthfeel. Very good drinkability.from Steve in Warren. Complex saison, that a couple of years ageing helped bring out the potential. One of the better brett saison creations I have tried.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of Brettanomyces are present in the nose, which stand out in front of notes of lavender.
T: The taste has flavors of pumpkin flesh and lavender along with notes of sourness and funk from the Brett.
M: It feels on the higher side of being light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This saison isn't as dry and spicy compared to other beers in the style, but is rather complex and has some interesting aromas and flavors.

Beer pours a brite golden color with a strong white head that settles back into the glass but leaves a little ring of bubbles.

The aroma is very complex, guava, horse, honey, sweat, a lot of funk, some lemon grass. The more barn like aromas for the brett do not go great with the honey aroma.

The beer is sweet, tastes of honey, wheat, lemon grass, and has a mild acidity.

The mouthfeel is sticky and medium in body.

Overall there is a lot going on in this beer, but in a chaos sort of way. Kind of a mess with all the flavors clashing together. I can not pick up any of the lavender, pumpkin, or other spices that are supposed to be in the beer.

Incredibly hazy, straw hue with a lot of foam, no lacing. Brett yeast in the nose. Spice (coriander maybe?) upfront in the flavor, slightly tart finish. Similar spice profile to how my mom cooks corned beef. What that is I couldn't tell you. Very bubbly, very dry mouthfeel. Decent.
