arguably the best straightforward blond beer I have ever had, and let me tell you why. this is a cold weather blonde beer, a juxtaposition as striking as the black can to this pale yellow liquid, clear as a sunny day under a few heady clouds. the full body and aggressive fresh german pils type malts really stand out to me, above balance, this is decidedly malty. I love how much heft this has, girthy and robust, so fantastic. I could drink this to warm up, more like a winter blonde than a summer one, not the slightest bit boring, and not one bit dull. six of these wouldn't even bore me, maybe the first time I can say that in this genre. its clean finishing, but it leaves a lasting impression. I could drink this fireside. the medium to full body makes it, I cant wait to get more and put my theory to the test. as soon as its on shelves I will be hammering a sixer. I will keep you posted BA.

Just tried this beer while vacationing in Aspen, CO. It has a very clear orange color and carbonation is light not a big head. You get the taste of honey and slight orange aroma. Taste is very crisp and light. The brewery was just down the street in Aspen but I didn't get a chance to visit. Defintely worth trying of you are a fan of blonde ale.

Attractive dark amber, honey blonde, giving a decent head in the round wine glass. Pleasantly spritzy with a lingering bubbly carbonation that is not too sharp.

Warm and rounded with a pleasing malt sweetness. Shapely body with some fair toasted malt. Leaves you with a good feeling and a bitter edge. Malty but lightened with a lemony note. Really quite tasty.

Zingy and interesting for a quaff. A much more robust Blonde Ale than typical. From the 12 oz can purchased at Wilbur's Total Beverage in Fort Collins.

Slightly hazy pale straw yellow, huge thick head of fine bubbles. The brew's aroma is an appealing apple crispness, tart and slightly grainy. Taste is dominated by the pale malt with just a touch of faint grassy hops in the finish. A bit sweet, but not cloying. The overall feel is very nice, with an appealing subdued liveliness, not too carbonated.

Pretty good blonde here. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Pours a nice pale, straw-yellow body with a fluffy, sticky, white head; lots of clinging lace and foam. Light grain aroma; a bit of dry grass; a touch of fruitiness. Warm biscuit and mild cereal flavors; crisp sweetness; gentle hop bitterness towards the finish. Medium bodied; crisp and dry.

A very delicious blonde ale that easily reminds you of a good German kölsch. There are many similarities: gentle malt backbone; soft and smooth on the palate; well-balanced yet unobtrusive hop, easy going hop bitterness. My only issue was the aroma was very subdued and hard to pick up on, but every other aspect shines, especially the flavor. Nicely done, easy drinking and definitely worth a return visit.
