As the fall days grow shorter, beer drinkers naturally start their migration toward more robust, full-bodied brews. Late Harvest is an easy-drinking, yet flavorful brew that features a deep chestnut color and unique, roasted malt aroma and flavor. Late Harvest’s rich flavor is the result of using four different malts, yet the robust profile remains balanced and sophisticated, thanks to our two distinctive hop additions.

Back when I had this it was just called Autumn Harvest Red Hook, I guess they threw the late harvest part since I've had this.
Pours brown and red like fall colors. Beige head 1/4". Aroma of leaves and nuttiness, can't complain about that in a beer for this season.
Taste is bouyed by the four malts, seems like a mix of ones you'd see in a brown ale, red ale and some crystal malt giving off plenty of notes of caramel. Hint of hoppiness ever so mild, this kind of reminds me of 'if America make oktoberfest beers'. Its mostly smooth and malty with just that hoppy lil bitter hint. I can still see a niche for stuff like these, its the ol' I don't want hoppy or sour, but I also don't want big roasty porters or stouts, I want smooth, but more than BMC. Cheaper than comparable beers, but the distro circle for Red Hook has shrunk so much I rarely see there stuff anymore.
I think these are easy to give out in the fall should you not like them.
