Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.20%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
The generous addition of hops both during and at the end of the fermentation process (dry-hopping) gives our India Pale Ale its characteristic bitterness and piney citrus aroma and flavor. The medium body, crisp finish, and moderate alcohol and IBU levels makes this one of America’s most drinkable and best-selling IPAs.

This is poured from a 22 oz bomber.
Straw gold color with a bold head . A lot of carbonation present.
Light citrus and malt aromas. Light taste for an IPA . You do get the hop bitterness up front and but the carbonation does over take the taste . This could be a pale ale .
Medium mouthfeel with a short finish.
Lets say this an average IPA , it's not bad , easy to drink, but at 6.2 % watch out if you session it. Might be a good choice in warm weather .

A very good IPA....one you can usually get at your local store. this is my fall back IPA when i cannot get to the store that carries my favorites. the color is that of a dark golden.

the smell is that of citrus (grapefruit), it goes down with a little bite, but overall it is smooth. 6.2 %abv, and it is not the double IPA's I love (like i said it is my stand by). over all i rank it as one of my top 10 IPA's (probably around 6 or 7). Long hammer's bottle does not look like what is pictured above.

If you love IPA's....you will like this...Southern tier 2x and Laguntas Maximus are steps above this IPA, however you will pay a little more for them.
