12oz bottle
A) Pours with a thin head that settles quickly. Brown-mahogany colored body. Clear body. Thin, semi-sticky lacing on the drink down.
S) Subtle caramel notes but not very aromatic.
T) Malty sweetness. Caramel. Hints of nuts. Subtle hops in the finish.
M) Medium-light body. Slight tannin in the finish.
O) An ok brew. With a name like "mudslinger" one would think the girth would be more and the flavor profile would be more pronounced.

Color is a little light, more red than brown. Good carbonation. Head dissipates quickly.
Smell of sweet malt
Malty, nutty with a bit of sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium, not watery and not syrupy.
Not a great brown ale, but good enough for a cold winter night.
Once again RedHook puts out a brew that is drinkable but not special.

A: Served a dark mahogany color with a nice head that fades to nice lacing.

S: Aroma of malt, caramel sweetness and bit of chocolate.

T: Taste of roasted malt, caramel sweetness, some nut and bit of chocolate. Mild bitterness and a finish the is quite dry.

F: Medium body, smooth and somewhat creamy. Has a decent balance.

O: Nice beer for the style but nothing too fancy.
