On tap at recent Redhook brewers night at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA. Served in straight pint glass. Poured a medium honey/golden amber color with about an inch of white head that had OK retention and no lacing.

The aroma had a very strong berry scent upfront. The berries smelled like syrup and not actual berries. There was a bit of the expected grains showing through underneath. On the tongue, the raspberry flavor dominated, rather than complimented, the anticipated beer flavors.

The body was, as expected, light, but with the sticky-sweet finish, it lacked the clean crispness I look for in the style. Drinkability was OK, but I wouldn't have more than one due to the sweetness. Overall, an OKish brew that's probably worth trying if you see it, but it's not worth any effort to find.
