Feb. 2016: 355 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. Probably well beyond its BB date. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, low white head. Aroma of dust, grain and wet basement. The flavour has a certain citrussy fruitiness that makes the beer drinkable, on a less pleasant background of very "dusty" malts. Low bitterness. Might have been somewhat better when it was fresh, but hardly a great beer anyway.

Bottle from ALbertsons. Nothing remarkable whatsoever in this brew, sort of flat and bland. Amber brew with little head, mild flavor and milder aroma. Waste of time.

Love the stubby bottles. I have bought this in the Red Hook sampler 12-packs on many occasions. Worth a few dollars extra on occasion, though it's not my every day brew.

Pours a clear gold producing 2 fingers of frothy, somewhat lasting, white head that leaves a stringy, blotchy wash of lace. Aroma is cracker & caramel malts, some citrus & a hint of tropical fruits. Taste is similar but sweeter & quite balanced. Finishes with a hint spice & thin bitterness producing a balanced malt/hop aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, moderate carbonation, silky & dry with a lightly bittersweet & faintly astringent aftertaste.

Bottled 8/25/14; drank 12/23/14 @ the Yarchives.

Poured from the bottle into a glass.

Semi-opaque orange hue.

White head; frothy lace.

Wheat, fresh soap & mild orange citrus nose.

Thin mouthfeel.

Mild orange citrus & mild fresh earth up front; earthy wheat notes in the finish. Drinkable but instantly forgettable; you could do worse, but you could do infinitely better.
