Pours a clear gold producing 2 fingers of frothy, somewhat lasting, white head that leaves a stringy, blotchy wash of lace. Aroma is cracker & caramel malts, some citrus & a hint of tropical fruits. Taste is similar but sweeter & quite balanced. Finishes with a hint spice & thin bitterness producing a balanced malt/hop aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, moderate carbonation, silky & dry with a lightly bittersweet & faintly astringent aftertaste.

Bottled 8/25/14; drank 12/23/14 @ the Yarchives.

Poured from the bottle into a glass.

Semi-opaque orange hue.

White head; frothy lace.

Wheat, fresh soap & mild orange citrus nose.

Thin mouthfeel.

Mild orange citrus & mild fresh earth up front; earthy wheat notes in the finish. Drinkable but instantly forgettable; you could do worse, but you could do infinitely better.

Very light, very clear copper with a substantial amount of creamy egg-white head that hangs around for a while despite having virtually no active carbonation I can see. Smells very, VERY faintly of floral hops. Taste is definitively more obvious, with piney hops throughout that are only moderate in their bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth and easy, so I can definitely see this being solid as a sessioner. Not my bag, though.

I am glad I got and drank before seeing the overall review of this. Enjoyed it more than I expected as I usually am not a low abv guy but worthy of more love than what it is getting.

Poured into pint.
Slightly hazy orange/golden beer with 2-finger off-white head (hard pour), low retention.
Smell is close to english bitters, biscuity, malty, slightly citrusy.
Taste - citrusy, malty, slightly piney, herbal notes, relatively mild hop bitterness.
Light body, soft carbonation, actually closer to english ipa, than to apa.
