Big thanks to rudzud for sharing.

Pours nice creamy fluffy head, nice lacing, mostly clear candy red orange color.

Nose tons of sour, tart funk, juicy stone fruit, fresh and sour peaches, little nectarine, tangy acidity, nice acetic acid, lactic too? little creamy malt too. Faint berry horse blanket in the background, little vanilla barrel oak.

Taste very very sour, nice sour funk, lacto funk, sour peach and fresh peach, little nectarine and generic stone fruit, juicy flemmy fruit with sticky, little malty flavor, etc. Tons of buttery and vanilla oak, nice acidity, acetic acid. Flemmy finish, hint creamy lacto, tangy, more peach and stone fruit, fleshy stone fruit, nice sourness lingering, little acid and tang.

Mouth is med bod, stickier than I expected, nice carb.

Overall very nice.

Shared with JLindros and Kyle. Bottle 474.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a hazy brown amber hue with a nice one finger head that fades to leave a creamy blanket.

S - Aromas of nice sour malts, little stone fruit, nice nectarine flesh, some sour pit, nice funk, subtle.

T - Taste is nice malt sweetness, good funky notes, nice barrel notes, light stone fruits, candy nectarine, acidic, light vinegar. Stone pit tartness. Quite subtle peach and nectarine, little yeasty. Nice creamy milky lacto thing.

M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, crisp. Not that flemmy.

O - Overall this beer was really tasty, nice sourness. The peach is very subtle with the funk being really pleasant. Tasty, though, not sure if this is worth the money they charge per bottle.

oh my goodness! this is just amazing, when i had the 2014 edition, i wasnt really sure what all the hype was about. it was awesome, but it wasnt all that different (or better) than others in that style. this is in a class all of its own, and i am awful lucky drlovemd87 decided to break one out, i have to imagine this is pretty rare and hard to come by. the aroma is just insane, the fruit is so ripe and genuine, sweet, but only in the natural fruit sugar sense, nothing artificial about it, and its so potent that its mouthwatering. the flavor is so peachy, as true peach as anything, and approaching fou foune (although thats apricot) for fruity authenticity and potency in a wild ale. i like that its not too sour to appreciate the fruit, its delicate in that way. funky for sure, and with plenty of acidity, which is awesome, i think thats the real genius of this beer. such fine balance, one of my favorite fruit beers of the year. carbonation is on point, and i would put this one up there with the best of any beer these guys make. its special and delicious, and i hope to one day taste it again. i wont soon forget this masterpiece.

Gush alert! Open this over a sink.

The aroma is very very tart of lemons and some oak on the back. A touch of mustiness.

The flavor follows with tart lemon peel. The beer is medium plus tart. Mustiness and oak are hinted at as the beer hits of some stone fruit juiciness on the back, but faint.

A slightly one dimensional brew.
