I drank this side by side with a Fou Foune. I enjoyed the Fou a little more, but this one is still a 5/5 for me. I got lots of peach and nectarine right away and nice tartness on the finish. The mouthfeel was perfect and overall this beer is extremely well balanced.

Wow this beer pours a beautiful orange straw color that radiates from the glass. The smell is oaky, with a strong dose of peach. I want to smell this beer all day. The taste is where this beer shines for me, first the sourness comes on but it quickly fades into a stone fruit pool party in my mouth. This beer is nuts, i have had it a few times and this time it is displaying the most fruit character. Mouth feel is crisp and not to full bodied.

750ml C&C bottle served in a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Pours a medium orange-copper body, on the darker side; two finger white head with good retention time and splotches of lacing. There is a little bit of pulpy sediment as well, which is not a turn-off by any means but rather, increases anticipation of the fruit flavours. Smell does not disappoint; although it is a bit muted when poured chilled; it primarily gives off nectarines, oak, lactic acid, mild funk, a little bit of caramel malt sweetness and hints of peaches and apricots. The peaches and apricots come out in full force as the beer begins to warm up, ultimately making for an impressive nose. It's cleanly executed in the nose, which I really appreciated. There is a bit more funk, although that could be more of the intrinsic fruit flavour, as it warms. Flavour is nicely acidic, with 6/10 lactic acid and a bit of vinegar, oak, peach skin, apricot flesh, freshly squeezed nectarines, slight musty straw. It's a very fruit-forward beer with a nice refreshing tartness and acidity to it, backed up by just enough malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation; somewhat crisp and easy to drink. Overall, this is a nicely balanced sour with quite a bit of fruit flavours in it that burst as the beer warms. It felt a bit "heavier" and substantial than the DeGarde Nectarine Premiere that we drank alongside with it, despite being almost a whole 1% ABV lower, but it provided more complexity, a cornucopia of flavours which made for a more interesting all-around tasting experience.

A : Cloudy orange

S: Lacto. Tart peach. Lemony citrus. Freshly mowed nectarine tree. Slight funk comes through more as it warms.

T: Bright, tart sour apricots. Lemony tickly peach, dry pucker hay finish.

M: Perfect carb. Likes sour peach pop rocks.

O: This is a sour lover's sour--it will pucker your mouth, but in a peachy good way.

750ml corked and caged bottle into a Bullfrog Teku. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a huge, fluffy, 3 finger powder white head with great retention. Beer is a clear dark copper. Lacing is stringy and spotty with great stick. A really fantastic looking beer!

Nose is sweet and tart peach. A light bit of yeastiness tickles the nose. Some mellow Brett and cobweb funk with earthy, oaky undertones. Juicy and fleshy. Really aromatic.

So sour! Opens juicy and very bright peach. Peach pit sour with some mild skin and oak. Brett, wet wood, hay and cobweb funk in the middle with an intensely sour and mildly acidic peach. Ends mild hay funk with a puckering, juicy aftertaste. Super duper sour that really doesn't dissipate.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Aggressive and bubbly in the mouth and goes down foamy and dry. Puckering finish with a filmy aftertaste. Solid.

This beer is intensely sour and at times, is a bit one dimensional, that being said, that dimension is super fruit and very tasty. Worth trying but I'm hoping this one develops a bit of complexity with age.
