750 mL bottle. Deep red, like a light red wine and a small collar. Smells very fruity. It's grapey, but it isn't really wine-like. Strong oak and oaky funk. Tastes of strong grape and fruitiness. Oak and barrel notes soften it. Pleasant fruit flavor. Medium body. It's nice. Distinctly grape flavored instead of wine flavored.

750ml cork and caged bottle. Snifter glass. Slightly murky purple reddish body, one finger frothy white head, short retention, bits of lacing. There is a fair bit of red grape must- can't tell zinfandel from most other red grape varietals, personally- but it's definitely vinous, with a mild cereal grain flavour but not particularly sweet- it has a moderate acetic tartness and dryness on the flavour and palate, good balance- it's not dry, but it's not sweet by any means, plenty of vinous character but not overwhelmingly so. It's a well executed wine grape sour with good balance. Medium bodied, good carbonation, a nice drinker for sure.
