When on tap these LA beers can be so much nicer appearance and mouthfeel wise. This one hit those brown and black notes, tan head, 3/5". Sweet boozy, bourbony, malty aroma, with mild oak impressions.

This one blends a lot of good stuff, chocolate malt, bourbon, brandy sweetness, char, vanilla, toffee, caramel.

Very nice, but still not gonna buy bottles of it. Draft only for me, customer service too poor, price too high to take a chance on bottles.

2011 vintage. No infection, pleasantly carbonated still.

Vintage 2014

a: nothing beautiful to look at. Hardly any head whatsoever. Hardly any lacing whatsoever.
s: bourbon, dark fruits. candied sugar
t: bourbon, cherries, chocolate.
m: low carbonation. slightly syrupy. medium body.
o: An interesting beer which I quite enjoyed. The blend works well in creating an unique beer. The one negative is I wish it had a touch more carbonation. A sipper in the best way however. I recommend giving this beer a try. Perfect accompaniment for contemplating on a winter evening.

Bottle from Chris, 2004 vintage. Aroma wraps up the ABV, fruity essence, dark pit fruit, oily slick body. Quad? Delicious? Yea! Aged exceptionally well.
