2011 vintage

a - poured a 1/2 finger thick tan head into a snifter that dissipated quickly. the body was dark black with some reddish edges.
s - big dark fruit aromas with some sweetness and oak.
t - fruit, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, oak, bourbon, brandy. you name it this beer has it. so complex and inviting yet incredibly drinkable.
m - medium with a little carbonation, more so than a lot of lost abbey beers which is a good thing here.
o - one of the best beers i've had in a long time.
