I had this on tap at Barrel Night 2011, and also out of the bottle one day later. Review is for the bottle because it makes more sense for people who may have a chance to try it in the future.

A: Mirky orange with nice bubbles and fizzy lacing on the glass

S: At first smell the acid stings the nostrils and gives way to fresh peach and peach scented vinegar, then it gets sweet and almost finishes with a peach cobbler scent. I could smell it all day, maybe my favorite part of this brew

T: Fresh peaches but almost unripened peaches at fist with the perfect mix of sweet and sour. The finish is all peach pit for me, almost like you finished eating a peach and your gnawing on the pit. Very interesting. Cobbler and cookie flavor from the smell also comes back. Very nice brew.

M: A nice body for a sour, not thick by any means but certainly not on the thin side. Carbonation is perfect.

Overall: Lost Abbey definitely knows how to work with peaches. As mentioned by some previous reviews, I think a few months will do wonders for this beer by transitioning some of the sweet into more sour yet still holding onto that in your face peach flavor. I wish I could have this side by side with a Fou Foune, but imo Veritas 010 is 6-8 months away from nibbling on the original Yellow Buses front door.

Excellent release. Poured at the Lost Abbey Barrel Night into an LA tulip glass - dark orange yellow, little carb. Not sticky.

V10 accomplishes a difficult task. The key elements are strong and satisfying without becoming overpowering at any point - with the first snort n' sip the peach scent and flavor are distinctive without citric bitterness. The end comes on sour, but only moderately. It's far from the blanket of tartness that a good vinegar-strength lambic can throw over your tongue.

In the middle there's a note that I don't recognize. Something in the middle between funk and almost a chocolate flavor. A touch of wood, maybe? Not sure, but it's a nice transition between the fruit and sour.

To sum, a delicate and restrained beer but with distinctive flavors that last on the tongue. Very happy with this one.
