On tap at Lost Abbey. This is a single barrel of Sour Avant Garde with a short exposure to Peach and Ginger Oolong Tea.

Orange in color with a small white head. The aroma is lactic, cheesy, and horsey with effusive barnyard and oak, as well as some leather. The tea imparts a nice peach character which goes wonderfully with the Sour Avant Garde. There's a dash of ginger.

The flavor possesses a moderate lactic sourness with a light citric lemon-like acidity and notes of oak. There's a pleasant peach presence in the flavor but no astringency I've experience from other tea beers, I suppose that's due to the short exposure. The flavor has restrained leather with barnyard and earth. Not much ginger in the flavor. Very good and perfect on this warm day.
