Our tribute to Willie…Shotgun Willie IPA’s aromas of cantaloupe and gooseberry come directly from New Zealand’s Nelson Sauvin Hops. Rye and wheat contribute to a distinct dry grain flavor. Pouring pale straw in color with full hop character, this is unlike any IPA you’ve had before.

On tap at the PB. Poured into standard pint. Slightly cloudy orange/golden. Nice head with lacing retention.
Smells of bitter fruity hops. Taste is of a nice hop bite with citrus and fruit. You really get the hop flavor without it being too bitter. Its a very mild IPA, but full of flavor. Really tastey. I cant wait to have again. Great brew.

DeCicco's growler fill
A: Darker than straw...goldenrod and luminesce. So clear your blind grandma could read a newspaper thru it. Had an overflowing pearl white head that had to be slurped, but disappeared before I could sit down. Really nice lacing though.
S: Really lovely, perfect southern hemisphere hop profile. Silky, sweet fruit notes of melon, green papaya,
M: It's been sitting in a swing top growler for 6 days...still the carb level is underwhelming; too creamy, too smooth for the hefty and weighty body that rye contributes.
T: So the rye seems to overwhelm the nuances contributed by the hops in my opinion making it a tad bland on the palate. Odd, considering the fuller body. Peppery spicing is predominant to me; white grape and slightly vinegary. Finishes nicely, thistly and dry. Slight citrus, lime zest, breadfruit. I fell teased, and wish it were juicier. This isn't necessarily
