This pub is located in the newer main street part of Parker. In spite of the name of the place, I guess they haven't brewed anything here lately because their brewer got deployed. Seems like an odd choice not to have someone fill in, but I suppose there might be more to the story.
There's a large L-shaped bar and about a dozen tables scattered throughout.
On the day I went in they had 5-6 taps including a couple items from Avery, Great Divide, and Bristol. Pretty much the flagship brews from each, plus a few macros.
Food was pretty standard bar food. Burgers, fries, sandwiches, etc.
Nothing to write home about, but pretty good.
Overall, the best way to describe the place would be average. I'm sure a decade ago it would be noteworthy, but these days the taps were limited, they weren't brewing, and the menu is duplicated in dozens of other restaurants.
On the plus side - prices weren't too bad.
Probably an okay place if you live within walking distance, but there are better options that aren't too far away.

I'd have to think this place might be dramatically different (at least beer-wise) with their brewer around and is only worth revisiting when he returns. That still leaves me wondering why they don't have someone filling in, especially considering the name of the place. It's a little misleading at the moment.

EDIT: Apparently they're probably not going to be brewing again any time soon...if ever. Hopefully they'll change the name of the place or hire a brewer. Otherwise I can see the confusion potentially sinking this place. It's on thin ice as it is.

This review only covers the beer that is brewed on site - we did not have any food. We visited in July, 2010. Unfortunately, the beer was nearly undrinkable. They only had two offerings, a brown ale and one other. They both tasted almost identical with the brown being a little darker. The both had such a strong metallic taste that we left our glasses unfinished after a few sips. According to their web site, there regular brewer was deployed to Afghanistan and was not able to continue. That is unfortunate as the quality of the beers seems to have taken a nose-dive.

I'm not sure what happend with the guy who was asked to leave the restaurant, but I've been there many times and have enjoyed the place each time. The food has been good each time, the reuben was excellent, but the menu is pretty small, so I wouldn't go there expecting a lot of variety. They seem to rotate a few beers pretty often, which is nice so that whether you're a regular or just stop by once in a while you can get something new if you want. The atmosphere has been great most of the time. The only complaint I have is that the band they had in there was pretty loud when I was there one night. I would definitely recommend stopping by this place.

This could be the very worst restaurant in Colorado. The tables are jammed in so close I could barley get to my table with out disturbing each person I passed. When we sat down there was old dried food stuck on our table. When we asked for our table to recleaned the waitress seemed put out. We started our dinner with a Pale Ale that was brewed on-site, it tasted flat with below average taste. My wife ordered the cheese dip with chips. The chips were stale and the cheese dip was watery with little flavor. I'm not sure how you could mess up cheese dip but they accomplished this difficult task. For the main course I ordered the brat with sauerkraut and my wife ordered the chicken sandwich. 1st off my brat bun was totally soggy. The placed so much sauerkraut juice on my plate my bun was mush. The brat itself tasked like it had been cooked days ago and was really dry. The best part of the dinner was when my wife bit into her chicken sandwich and it was raw inside. I kind of got mad and raided my voice at the waitress. She sent over the manager who started yelling at me and told us to leave or he was calling the police. I tried to explain to him that raw chicken can kill people but this guy treated us like we were at fault. I have NEVER been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my 40 years on this planet! Please take my advice and never visit the restaurant!

Ok, third time's a charm! My first 2 experiences there were pretty bad, but they were new. But I went back for a third time and it was much better. I had two beers that I really liked. The Hoppy Red (un-named) and the chocholate stout, which was on Nitro. The Red was good, and I could have had another and the stout was really well done, very chocolaty but not overdone. Both had good heads and really nice lacing. I'll try the rest of their beers again, but I must say that these were 100x better than the first batches from when they first opened.

The food selection is small but varied. I've had 3 of their appetizers so far. The meatball sliders were cold and the cheese was unmelted so I didn't care for that. The Carne Asada Pork Nachos are pretty good, but your left with just a plate of dry chips pretty fast. The wings were good though, and I liked how they were baked instead of fried. They were spicy but not too spicy.

The service was good this time.

I like how they had a lot of nice flat screen TV's. There are a lot of seats at the bar, and it's not too crowded with chairs. They have some nice outside seating now too.

They give 15% off for AHA members and that's really cool.

I'm happy I stopped in for a third time. I'll go again now.

**update. Rude service last time I was there.

Been here quite a few times since opening day and I've yet to be disappointed.

I wasn't expecting much out of the beers due to the size and most new places not being all that impressive to me. I was proved wrong. The beer here has been good stuff so far. They also will be offering rotating/updated releases for their Blonde, Brunette and Red's. Pretty cool since there will always be new beers. They also will be offering special releases regularly.

The staff is awesome. They've remembered me everytime i've gone in there, and they've always been super friendly and always willing to have a chat.

Food has been good so far as well. Prices are reasonable, but everything is homemade according to them, and the tastes seem to reflect.

Overall, i'm very happy to have this place open up near me. It's one my new favorite local hang outs.
