This beer came a bright and vibrant honey copper color that faded to straw near the edges with just a touch of haze. The head was a thin irregular film of white that left a few spots of foam behind.

Smells of honey, oats and walnuts wtih a dry clover flower hoppy dryness.

Tastes of dried clover and leaves with a touch of birch bark that left a little sting at the back of my palate. There's a touch of Sprite sweet and sour beneath that finishes off with a woody sweetness.

Feels big and dense with a little breeze of CO2 that finishes up clean and dry.

A well done and exceptionally well rounded ale. A session beer I would be happy to stick with for a few nights.

Pours golden with a thin white head. Some lacing sticks.

The smell is bready/yeasty with subtle floral notes.

The taste is bready/yeasty with some lemon, honey, a touch of floral notes. It has a dry-ish chalky/dusty finish.

Light-bodied, though thickish within that, with just a spritz of carbonation. Not quite as smooth or "refreshing" as I would expect for an "easy-drinker" but not "bad".

A mild that is more of a typical "American Blonde", IMO. A bit too yeasty/bready for me, but fine enough to drink if you are looking for a brew with a modest abv.

On tap at the Earth Bread Brew Pub.

Poured a medium amberish color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of floralness, grains, and toasty. Tastes of the same floralness, grains, toastiness, and some caramel.

Notes from and tasted on: 03/28/09.
