First had: on tap at Earth

As far as I can ascertain, this had nothing to do with Tired Hands Brewing Co. at all, even though its tagline was "the darkness that comes out of the hole in the top of your glass."

Dark reddish-brown pour with a dense tan head that retained as a thick ringlet. Roasty aroma, earthy. Taste of roasty dark German malts, earthy, a bit off from the start, astringent, with some vaguely fruity esters, boozy at first, mild coffee notes, with a gritty chocolate sensation coming through as it warmed. Medium in body, lower carbonation, overall sort of awkward and off in flavor. Not entirely bad, but I wouldn't drink more than 13oz. of it, if that.
