Golden yellow in color with perfect clarity. Poured with a towering, soapy, bright white foam that quickly reduced to a wispy cap with medium low retention. Pilsner malt aromas with grainy and sweet cereal notes. Medium light bodied with medium, acidic arbonation. Grainy and pilsner malt flavors followed by earthy, herbal hops and medium light bitterness. Grainy malt and light bready notes on the back end. Finished with a acidic bite followed by lingering bready notes. This is basically Yeungling amber lager without the caramel malt. Pretty straightforward and drinkable.

it poured a thin straw yellow color with a huge white head to start with. It leaves a little lacing on glass, the smell is of yeast with a hint of banana to it. The taste is a bit to the grass side but with not much of any hops coming in to it, mild sweetness. the feel is mild and easy to drink. Overall a good beer but nothing to get excited about, just a nice one to have on a hot afternoon.

When in Rome...

Pale golden color, corn grits and wheat on the nose. Light, highly carbed, thin body. Pale malt flavor, not getting the same corn grits as found on the nose... overall just a decent Pilsner, crushable, crisp, and affordable. Definitely not great, but okay.

1 PINT can
Served in a can glass

This beer pours a brilliant golden color and is topped with a couple inches of eggshell head that leaves no lacing.

I get a banana aroma and not much else.

The taste has hints of banana. The are basic grain flavors and no hops of which to speak.

Thin mouthfeel and light body

It is very light in every aspect. It is right up your alley if you like tasteless BMC styles which I do from time to time.

Now this was a pleasant surprise. Sometimes, specially on a hot day, you want an easy drinking beer (no hops comming out of your ears) but till has some flavor. Most Mexican beers that are not labeled "light" tick box boxes, as well as Europeans such as Heineken and Stella Artois. Michelob did it for American beers, although at least in my area, increasingly hard to find. Yuengling Traditional lager, although not bad, it had something that prevented me from enjoying a second one. But Yuengling Golden Pilsner is the definite american beer after a summer afternoon of working in your yard.

Good clear yellow gold color with solid white cap and lacing.

Aroma of bready malt, some grassiness and a spicy hop element with a touch of citrus.

Taste of yeasty bread, some hop influence opens up mid palate, finish is clean and crisp. Hops come across as firm without being obtrusive with a slight citrus tang. The flavors are good though not outstanding. In fact this is a conservative prob in the Pilsner direction without wandering off the established boundaries of the Yuengling reservation. It's as if they wanted to create something new that would also be acceptable to their established customer base. Can't blame them for that, one of the reasons I suppose they've managed to stay in business for 180 years now. Which is extraordinary when you think about it, the Yuengling family was brewing and selling beer long before the original Pilsner was created.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

This Pilsner, like their IPL, is a step towards the style but a small one that's tentative, almost baby steps. Ok, that's it, Yuengling Golden is a baby steps Pilsner.

Yuengling Golden Pilsner has a thick, off-white head, a clear, bubbly, gold appearance, and minimal glass lacing. Aroma is of sweet sourdough, yeast, and faint grass. Taste is of those element, and some mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Golden Pilsner finishes crisp and refreshing.
