This is not light lager
This is premium light
3.5 alc, 24 pack, white can blue trim, blue logo. For me, premium and premium light from yuengling are comparable to old Milwaukee and its light version, all the way down to the design of the cans. Quite good for the price, enjoyable light beer, floral aroma, watered down malt and corn sweetness that blends a clean, muted hop note into dryness. Very light body

Yuengling Light Lager is just a really great tasting beer, unlike Ultra, which taste more like beer water. I like it. I will buy more. In fact, I will drink one more...right now.
Cheers!!

Hey, it’s a light beer. But with an actual flavor profile and beautiful golden color- it’s barely a light beer. It might actually be the king of light beers due. If you want something with lower calories and low carbs, but still want to taste beer then this should be your go-to.

One of the only light beers worth drinking. Although at 99 calories and 4.0, it's not all that light, but you can tell yourself you're being healthy.
Clean refreshing lager taste, wheaty, with a hint of hops sparkle, and mild carbonation. Super refreshing.

The beer is an amber color with a white head that disappears quickly. The smell is adjuncty and of stale bread but not too bad with the malt underpinnings. Taste-wise the stale bread character continues over. There is some faint earthiness and alcohol taste. It is sweet but not too sweet. The is bubbly and flow as well as hard. Overall, it is an alright light lager.

I love this beer. It is cheap and it tastes great with no bad effects. Some inexpensive beers give you a headache or the sh_ ts ,this beer is refreshing.

(a variety of numbered codes on each bottle in the sixer - all apparently 2018 bottles; purchased cold... poured into simple mug)
L: crystal-clear, pale golden liquid; tight pad of loose, white foam on the pour, takes a moment to collapse; keeps a collar, but leaves very little lace
S: bubblegum, toasty/nutty light caramel; relatively potent intensity... hint of corn syrup creeps in... a couple sips in, the aromas become more muted
T: immediately apparent watery shell to its simple malt foundation; sort of lightly-toasted popcorn kernel note dominant in the aftertaste, with some cereal grain poking through in the background... mild bubblegum note from the smell does carry over a little... by the end, a subtle grassy bitterness lingers, as well as a surprising amount of caramel
F: delicate bubbles up front; soft, silky, light-bodied flow... for a light beer, has a plush touch to it
O: although I've seen this countless times in package stores, the absence of the word 'Premium' on the label always threw me off, leading me to believe their 'Premium Light Beer' was an elusive whale of sorts, possibly relegated to the foothills of Schuylkill Co.... it was only when I finally first visited the brewery weeks ago that I made the connection; after the tour, tried it for the first time in a lil sample from a plastic cup... I have now reviewed every Yuengling beer in the portfolio here (1435)

Just about the best light beer I’ve tried. A golden brown color and actually has a taste — clean, a little malty sweetness and creamy mouth feel. Does a pretty good job of holding a head — a pleasant surprise for a light beer. Congrats to Yuengling for producing a light version of their signature brew with outreducing it to near-water.
