Decent head production but poor retention. Body is a dark, nutty brown, mostly clear but with some sediment.
Cola-forward nose. Notes of prune, raisin, chocolate, nuts, banana, toast.
Similar on the palate. It's a relatively thin porter, expected given the ABV. Light roast and toasty notes. Cola, nuts, banana, toast, toffee. The chocolate really comes on strong on the back third, after most of the sip has run its course. As the beer warms, more of the chocolate flavor moves to the front of the sip. It's a very tasty; the chocolate is very complementary.

This was my RateBeer review from 10/21/21. 12 oz. bottle pours an opaque dark brown with small vanishing tan head and hardly any lacing. Aroma has chocolate, roasted malts and some hops. Taste is sweet. Body is medium with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. The added chocolate and fuller body makes this an improvement over Yeungling's regular porter.

12oz bottle pours a dark brown with light brown floaty bits and a fizzy tan-colored head that doesn't stick around long. Smells of dark roasty malts and a very rich slightly sweet chocolate note. Rich dark malt flavor with an unmistakable chocolate flavor that is somehow very strong but not overpowering or overly sweet at all. Minimal bitterness, mild sweetness, light-bodied, a short finish, and a bittersweet cocoa aftertaste.
This beer is surprisingly solid. The minimal sweetness and honestly pretty thin body keep it from being overpowering despite the strong chocolate flavor. It also does not taste super close to Hershey's which is a good thing. Another good beer you can find everywhere and cheap for an occasion is always very welcome.

Pours a very dark brown with a light caramel colored head. Smell is of watered down barley can’t find the chocolate on the nose. Taste is of roasted malts with a chocolate aftertaste as it warms.

A delicious dessert beer. Surprised that I like it so much. Looks dark like any porter. Faint chocolate smell. Tastes great with some roasted malt and just enough sweet chocolate. It does have a thin feel goingdown but that's appropriate for this beer. Good job Yeungliing

Love it, love it, love it. Great porter with a chocolate finish. I could drink this every day pre or post meal or just sitting and watching a ballgame.

Dark brown with a brown foamy head. Thin body. The chocolate is present after every sip. I wouldn't call this one a porter. Fun to drink but not good enough for me to buy it again.

Dark brown in color with minimal light penetration. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering half of the top. The aroma is of rich milk chocolate. I’m tasting a lot of rich milk cocoa powder that finishes with a gentle touch of bitterness. The mouth is is silky smooth.

Poured dark into the glass, did detect a chocolate scent and others too. Had a good Hersheys chocolate taste to it right off the bat. This is a thin bodied brew which to me is good. A very enjoyable porter.

The pour is black with a tan head that dies down rather quickly. The body is light to medium & the taste is roasted malt & hershey's chocolate. Overall, this was a great idea to put Hershey's chocolate in a beer. Cheers! B

From an undated (at least I couldn't find the date) bottle into a pint glass. Assuming this is the 2023 edition.
Pours a very dark brown, nearly opaque (similar to cola), with one finger of tan head. Good enough retention and lacing.
Definitely chocolate on the nose but also some coffee and roasty/smoky notes.
Taste is similar to the nose with some light bitterness. Taste is much more enjoyable cold than warm.
Thin-bodied with low to medium carbonation. Some kind of a weird metallic aftertaste.
It's ok. Certainly not great and probably not worth a revisit. Glad I only got a single.

Poured a thin head that disappeared into thin air.
I had lowered expectations and they were exceeded. The flavor is Hershey's chocolate, definitely, but balanced with the porter base, it is sweet but not a dessert beer. A pleasant experience.
