The clear golden beer pours out into a shaker pint glass with a 1/8" layer of white foam that soon recedes to a small ring of bubbles around the glass. Sipping creates a few widely scattered small spots of lacing.

The aromas have a grainy character and there's a light touch of light, almost grassy character.

The flavors are much as expected from the nose with the grains and grassy hops most noticeable. There's some sweetness here with just a hint of grassy bitterness in the background.

The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied and fairly crisp, especially given the poor showing made by the head. The finish begins as the sweetness and grainy character begin to recede, eventually leaving some almost bitterness in the almost dry ending.

An easy drinking beer which I'd be fine with having again if it was offer and nothing with more flavors showing was available. That said I'll not be looking to have another on purpose, especially since I prefer the Yuengling Traditional Lager to this one.

Light gold colored beer with a rapidly fading head...refreshing and tasty...it kind of reminds me of a Michelob...for the price I would consider this a pretty good deal.

This is the first time I try the Premium. The Lager is a bit sweeter. I definitely like the Premium better! Smell: Corn, Hops, Yeast like traditional AAL. Here in NJ a 24 pack costs $12.99 a case! Lager costs $17.99 a case. Overall a solid 4 for taste and value. A good go to beer and definitely underrated and unnapreciated especially if you're on a budget. Cheers!

This is okay as rated by BA. Nothing to get worked up about.

This is my go-to beer when I'm watching sports on TV and munching on Middleswarth BBQ chips. Not the best beer in the world but a little better than Yuengling's lager and cheaper than any craft beer you can buy.

I picked this up because I moved to philly. That's the only reason. Better than some macros but I'd really only drink this with some food and toward the end of the night. Mostly sweet malt character and quite carbonated. But... a six pack is like $7 in a city where most sixers are $15+
