Ok, wow. I have to edit this one. I deleted my old review because this store has been reborn!
I thought I was blown away from the change this store went through on my last visit back in April.

Go there now and you will find that the beer section has moved and expanded yet again. Expanded tenfold. It seems like there is a new part of the building built just to house all of the beer. There is a new walk in beer cooler (but there really isnt much of interest inside).

The new and improved beer section is STACKED. a good 2 or 2 and a half isles of 6 packs all organized by country. The more interesting/limited/seasonal stuff taking up the end caps.

Where I really became wide-eyed was the last isle. The singles and bombers isle. Almost every American 6 pack and major European 6 pack is broken into singles here. You will also find beers that are only available in singles among them. Pannepot Reserva was a kick ass find here.

The other side of the singles isle is where all the bombers and 750s are. Cantillons were a welcome surprise. Rose De Gambrinus most noted as I dont think Ive seen this anywhere else in Columbus. 3F Kriek and Geueze, all of Ohio's offerings from The Bruery and Jolly Pumpkin and every last Ohio bomber out there.

I had a chance to meet and chat with the new "beer guy" here who is responsible for this killer smorgasbord of beer. He was quite knowledgeable and showed me around when I asked him what was new. He said he is really into sours lately so I will definitely be keeping an eye on upcoming selections here.

The "beer guy" said bombers are at state minimum but I feel like some singles have a little but of a surcharge added. e.g. Pannepot Reserva was over $8

My old review, which is from when the expansion was in its infancy.
When I first got into beer and didnt have BA to help, word of mouth send me to the other location of The Andersons. Later I found this one. I believe this location off 161 has a better selection.

I have been here before but I stopped in again today out of lack of a better thing to do. I remember from my previous visits that there was a mediocre to decent selection of 6 packs and average selection of bombers. This trip however I was nearly blown away.

Many many beers that I didnt think I would find here. Double Crooked Tree, DORIS, Hop Dam, Brooklyn Local 1, Avery Dépuceleuse, Esspresso Oaked Yeti, Hell or High Watermellon and a few others.

The prices were low too! I remember seeing DORIS marked at under $10, Hop Dam for under $15. Dépuceleuse was a bit pricey though.

I left with Esspresso Yeti, Double Crooked, and Dépuceleuse.

If this werent so far of a drive for me I would come back here often. I feel like they get the rarer stuff in but noone around town realizes it so its all there for the taking!

Sadly I guess this place is closing later this spring. Too bad as they have a fantastic selection of beer and mead, including Schramms. Beers were nicely laid out, and easy to browse. Prices were reasonable.

Very nice selection. Decent pricing, not perfect, but decent. Very well categorized by brewery location and/or bottle size, so it's easy to browse through everything without feeling lost, and also fairly easy to go straight after what you're looking for.

It's one of the better places to buy craft beer in the Columbus area that I've been to.

The best selection in the area. Service is good but it depends on individual taste. The atmosphere is basically a grocery store with a gigantic selection. Prices are reasonable but hard to compare since they have such a large selection. The NW Columbus location has a much larger refrigerated section.

This place has an amazing beer selection. Obviously, it is a grocery store, so there's nothing special to see. However, if you are looking for good beer at good prices, then this is a must visit.

My go-to beer and wine destination whenever I'm back home. The "vibe" is nothing special, but I have always found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. On my last visit, I was able to pick up three of the beers on my want list (BP Sculpin, Sorachi Ace, & DFH Palo Santo Marron) on one brief trip down the singles aisle. I could spend hours just browsing here. (And I have.)

Best selection in Columbus! An entire aisle of individual bottles for sale, ands-down the most helpful staff, and the largest selection of bombers and six-packs I've ever seen. Also features a bar with nearly daily sampling.

This is my most frequented beer destination in the Columbus area. The selection is second to none in the area. Service can be hit or miss. Some employees are very knowledgeable about craft beer while others are lacking and more familiar with wine. The atmosphere is nothing special. After all, it is just a department store of sorts. Prices are reasonable and generally fall in line with other retailers; however, many of their 12oz singles are marked up significantly.

My favorite store in Columbus. The selection is incredible, and they always have great beers like Wulver, Backwoods, a bunch of Jackie O's, and a huge selection of Hoppin Frog. They have vintage J.W. Lees almost every time, and a great selection of craft beer from around the country and beyond. Service is good, and the vibe is fine. Selection rocks.

This is a beer drinker's heaven. The largest selection of craft and imported beers, IMHO, of any store in the Columbus area. Competitive pricing and a huge array of bottles available is singles. Can't believe it has taken me this ling to wander over to their store. Three thumbs up ;-)

The Andersons was excellent. The atmosphere of the beer aisles (where I was hanging out) was just fine, there was a wine/cheese sampling going on... folks were casually perusing the aisles. While I wasn't checking around for dates/etc, all of the items I purchased were fresh (although the Bell's Expedition I picked up was about a year old, which is excellent). Several employees in the beer/wine section guiding patrons to their beers, and one particularly knowledgeable employee running about like a madman helping folks make their selections. I was asked several times if I needed a hand/etc. As far as I have heard, if it is distributed in OH then it is at The Andersons. Wonderful selection. Prices were on par with most I have seen.
