My first offering from these guys...
Faint citrusy grapefruit aromas and maybe a little orange as well... A bit flowery as well... Not bad aroma-wise but not pungent either...
Very refreshing taste although unspectacular... Lightly hopped malts showcase here with neither winning... Fairly balanced if a bit thin...
This would make a good light lawnmower brew but the ABV could hinder too many...

(22oz) golden appearance, lagerish nose, unclassifiable and enjoyable. Still need to try many others from this brewery.

A - 3.75 - Nice murky orange color that has a great white had that sticks and leaves sparse lacing.
S - 3.75 - Right away you notice a floral, earthy, hop presence. The citrus/grapefruit notes aren't there. Not sure how I feel about this...
T - 3.0 - Bummer. Same floral/earthy hop notes. Bready malts. Not bitter at all, but then again that's how it was supposed to taste. These are the kinds of beers that make me understand why some people say they "don't like IPAs".
M - 3.0 - light-medium. Earthy/floral mouthfeel, like eating a flower. Aftertaste is floral notes.
O - 3.25 - "It is what it is", "they can't all be winners can they?", "nobody's perfect" are all phrases that come to mind with this beer. I'm surprised they brewed this specifically to not be bitter, but didn't worry about clarity at all. It seems like those are two conflicting concepts in the beer world.
However, I feel like I should add that it's not a "bad" beer. It was obviously brewed well, with balance and without excess adjuncts/corn sugar. I've had beers that were supposed to be bitter that were far shittier than this.

12 fl.oz. bottle poured into a Samuel Smith pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a murky honey-orange with a generous fingernail head that dissipates somewhat after the initial pour. The head is almost beige in color.
Smell: The nose is subtle but delicious! Floral notes with hops, grass, citrus (especially grapefruit and lemon).Perhaps a little sweet biscuit/malt appears.
Taste: Grapefruit, hops, grass, lemon, and malty biscuits are here. Acidic, but delicately balanced by the somewhat sweet biscuit flavor. Maybe a little alcohol present in the finish (needs more!).
Mouthfeel: Smooth, but dry over the palate. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Really balanced for an IPA in my opinion. Some may say that the flavor never really develops because this beer's flavor becomes too neutral. An odd beer with odd characteristics which sort of endears it to me. A beer of the month club selection.

Poured a finger and half of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body.
The aroma had the mildest citrus and pine smells.
The taste had a watery-mild bitterness to it with a sweet note at the end. Meh.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It does not have anything really going for it. It's not bad, but it has no real flavor or smell to it.
