Copper color with a big creamy head. Aroma gives off orange and dank pine with a caramel malt backing. The hop flavor is pretty basic with a piney zing that lasts for a little while. There is a slight warming touch of alcohol. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky and resinous, good balance between the hops and the malts. At first I was intimidated by the abv as I generally don't drink beers above 8.0% but there is enough citrus fruit flavor to help this one go down. A pretty good beer.

Pours a clear gold color. 5/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of alcohol, citrus hops, floral hops, hint of piney hops, and sweet malt. Fits the style of an American Imperial IPA. Mouthfeel sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is a noticeable bitterness. Tastes of alcohol, citrus hops, floral hops, hint of piney hops, and sweet malt. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, but blend is all over.

Bottle from Whole Foods - Coddingtown. Hazy, medium golden, small creamy head. Aroma is light, malts, fruity, bananas. Taste brings a bit of zing, some initial hops bite, more fruit, more banana. Nice weight and feel. More hops bitterness at the back, and it lingers for a while. No heat from the ABV.

Pours deep copper color with a nice two finger off white head that laces all.

Aroma is more subdued citrus and pine on sweet caramel base. Like deep citrus notes not bright.

Taste is like the nose but fairly good bitterness, deep citrus flavor and pine resin in the finish.

Mouhfeel is solid medium with pretty level carbonation.

Overall not bad but not your normal big hop bomb I2PA.

Copper color, slightly off-white fluffy head, aromas have some citrus hops, but they're muted. The taste has the same muted citrus hops and a decent malt base, but nothing "pops" in this beer. I couldn't find a date code, wondering if I had one with some whiskers on it.

Poured an orange body with minimal head. Aroma is basically dry citric hops w/ hint of grapefruit. Taste and mouthfeel are same as a slightly dry beer presents bitter citric hops with minimal grapefruit notes and slight malt base for heft.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into an imperial pint glass.

A: The beer is a dark golden brown color with a large foamy off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, earthy hops and some citrus.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel and citrus. Then a strong but not over-powering earthy hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Smooth and crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid 2IPA to drink for a while.
