The Vine at Greenlife Grocery is an excellent place to find a good selection of craft and Belgian ales that classify as TN "Super Beers" (6.3% abv or above). While their selections is not gigantic (nor is the selection in any TN store really), the choices are diverse and they have one of the largest selection of chilled boutique and Belgian ales I've seen in any store. The owner/staff are helpful and quite knowledgeable about the beers they carry. Overall a great selection and reasonable prices compared to other places in the area, I've checked. Don't be fooled by the fact that its located in a "Whole Paycheck" owned grocery store. It's a mom and pop place that is immaculately run with a great staff and a good selection. Also, one of the best sake selections in town if you are into sake like I am.

Greenlife Grocery is a great source of beer. This place is next door. I've never seen a 'high-end booze boutique', but this is the only way to describe this place. It certainly specializes in wine and liquor. The beer selection is small but diverse. I've tried several beers here and they're always horrible. I don't think it's the beer, I think it's the shelf life. No one goes here to buy beer, so the stock is really old and the owner obviously never changes them out. Go to Greenlife for a great selection of fresh beers.
