At long last, I am finally getting around to an extensive brewery horizontal to clear out a massive backlog in support of The CANQuest (tm). I knew that I had a number of their beers in abeyance, but it was not until I beCAN assembling them that I realized just how extensive my inventory actually was. At long, long last, the ultimate CAN of my initial run-through! 16/16.
From the CAN: "Massively Fruity and Juice-tastic. Never Boozy. Always Unfiltered. All Simcoe."; "Regret Nothing[,] Deny Everything"; "Frontside Lipslide Double IPA"; "Refreshing. Deceivingly Crushable, Like Your Hopes and Dreams. Use With Care."; "Proudly Brewed In Pennsylvania"; "Pizza. Beer. Happy."; "Please Enjoy Fresh, Preferably With Pizza. Do Not Age."
The grand finale beCAN with a Crack! of the vent, followed by a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed beautifully to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, French Vanilla-colored head with good retention, leaving a load of lacing in its wake. Color was a slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose held grapefruit & peach with Simcoe doing her naughty cattiness in the background. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but on the approach. The taste was quite fruity, with flavors of mango, pineapple, peach, grapefruit + pine and Simcoe's cattiness as well as a bitter heat. Crushable?!? Hardly. This bad boy was making its presence know every step of the way! Finish was dry and bitter, unlike my elation at having finally gotten caught up with these guys. Now, The CANQuest (tm) must move on to the next big brewery horizontal! YMMV.

Pours into an impy nonic a dull medium golden with a thinner lacy white head atop.An appetizing mix of citrus fruits and dank resin in the nose, nice to smell that again. Not too sweet wich is a nice surprise, citric and pine flavors with some residual sugary sweetness underneath, tastes like a DIPA should...In my humble opinion. My first try of this brewery and I come away impressed.

Poured from a 16oz glass into a Trillium IPA glass.
Look is a sightless cloudy yellow with amber highlights and a thick full white head.
Aroma is tropical mango and pineapple.
Taste is exactly what you want from an IPA. Dank tropical and herbal with a strong candy malt that isn’t boozy.

Picked up this pounder from the House of 1,000 beers into a pint glass.
A - Surprisingly lighter than I expected a very light amber yellow with a good 1/2 inch of foam makes for some good lacing always appreciated for the high octane.
S - Hops and honey like cracker malts mostly. No strong ethanol smells or malty smells like a winner
T - Drinks fairly bitter with pine mixing with pineapple like sweetness. Mild Boozy notes sneaking though.
M - A sure fire sipper drinks more on the medium to heavy body side.
Overall its good but it doesn't have the zip and drink ability of hop slam. Still always good to find a reasonably priced pounder and tick another beer!
