Pours a light copper color with about a half finger of head. The nose is citrus and hoppy. The flavor follows the nose with the citrus notes predominating and an extra touch of sweetness from the malt.

This is a top shelf DIPA.

16oz pounder can poured into a Brew Gentlemen tulip glass. Drank this 8 pack anywhere from 2 days old until now.

Look: Pours a slightly hazy golden to light orange color with about an inch of head. Lacing is very present and retention is great.

Smell: Tons of citrusy notes along with grapefruit and pine notes.

Taste: Taste follows the nose for me. Lots of citrusy notes and plenty of grapefruit along with some pine. Citrus hops seem to be coming thru more than the Simcoe. ABV of 10% is very well hidden as there is no alcohol burn at all.

Feel: Medium bodied. Nice and crisp!

Overall: Fantastic double IPA from Pizza Boy. ABV is a rock solid 10% and its well hidden in this gem. Glad to finally have these guys in Pittsburgh. I will be revisiting this one next year if brewed again!

Canned September 15.

A - Pale lemon/golden pour. Bright with two fingers of fluffy, pillowy white head. Good lace rings and a film of retention.

S - Citrus. Orange peel stands out. Very little malt to speak of. Sweet fruit.

T - Juicy fruit, citrus, a bit of harshness. Pineapple.

M - Medium bitterness is a bit odd, medium carbonation and medium body.

O/D - I could ask for more from this one. Easy to drink given the strength, but not showing nearly enough depth.

16 oz can poured into a Weizen glass.

Appearance
Hazy golden blonde with 1 finger of creamy white head. Some yeast sediment dances around. Moderate carbonation.

Nose
Guava, Kiwi-strawberry, papaya, pineapple, grapefruit, and honey.

Taste
White grape, guava, and kiwi-strawberry. Dank greens and pine sap with a smooth honey sweetness. Grapefruit juiciness with restrained zest.

Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, crisp, and oily with a light bitterness.

Overall
A freakin' great DIPA that drinks easy for 10%. Dank and "Aussie tropical."

Pours a vibrant golden, light-orange color with two fingers of near-white head that becomes quite sudsy looking as it slowly dissipates, leaving behind thick, sloppy lacing.

It has a lovely grapefruit-forward aroma, on the sweet side though, with hints of cantaloupe and nectarine, and a little prickly spiciness in the background. The very prickly and slightly syrupy mouthfeel stands out first upon sipping. It's sweet tasting up front, with some orange and honey added to what carries over from the nose, followed by strong hop bitterness and grapefruit acidity in the aftertaste. There's a kiss of alcohol in there, too.

This one starts off strong, but the taste honestly isn't that much better than average. Definitely worth a try, though.
