Pours a dark amber. Flavor is quite earthy with a distinct and full pine character. A bit more of a malt backbone than I would expect, but the hops are still working well. Smooth feel. Easy to drink. Very much an eastern ipa. Nice drinker, distinct character, pretty good beer. Another good one from Pizza Boy.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.

A - Pours hazy copper orange with a small half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a very light film, leaving thin webs of lace on the sides of the glass.

S - Smells of light pine, caramel, toffee, dash of fruit, toasted nuts and some earthy hops and plenty of mildly toasted caramel malt. The hops are there but the malt aroma is pretty strong.

T - Starts off with some big caramel and toffee sweetness slowly being joined by the piney resin and earthy hops, not much else other than that. Finish is pretty sweet with some mild bitterness, lingering long after the finish.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet, bitter feel from start to finish. A bit of booze shows itself as it warms up.

O - A decent IPA. Definitely more malt forward than most of their other offerings. Nice to try but I would probably opt for one of the others before this one.
