Look cloudy yellow with a nice head, one finger tall, and retention of foam on the glass. I don’t smell much, but tastes a bit like reefer! good beer though

16 ounce can.
Canned 10. 18. 21.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a medium hazy golden body with sticky lacing.

Nose of citrus with slight floral/herbal aromas and a bit of tropical fruit and pine.

Taste mirrors nose in its complexity, but really pops with all the flavor. Flavors are citrus, then tropical fruit, then finishing with mildly piney, floral herbaceous bitterness. Yup, I said that; if it makes any sense!

Mouthfeel is more than adequate for the style.

Overall, a solid IPA from Enola, PA.
Cheers!

On tap at Al's of Hampden/Pizza Boy Brewing in Enola, PA.

This one pours a very slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.

This smells like marijuana and fresh cut grass, tangerine, grapefruit, and a touch of malt.

This definitely leans a bit towards the old school and West Coast take on the IPA, and that works for me. There's just a hint of malt character, with some bitter grapefruit pith, orange, tangerine, and a bit of caramelized pineapple.

This is light bodied, clean, with a healthy bitterness and a nice drinkability.

If you're in the mood for an old school bitter IPA, this will fit the bill for me.

Yeah, this beer is rated highly on here and yeah, I wanted to add this label to my collection, and yeah, this was from late last year when I found it at ShopRite Liquors in Little Falls recently. That's not to say that this was a drain pour, but with so many IPA's that I've had over the years, it was a bit tough to see why this was rated where it was...

Plenty golden in pour and nicely radiant, this looked as much like a Pilsner as it did an American IPA. Plenty of thick foam topped it off although there wasn't much lacing left behind aside from some disconnected soapy sections near the middle of my pint glass. Lots of pineapple and grapefruit in the nose with some floral notes underneath that, as a bit of elderflower and deep stone fruit emerged once this fully warmed up. Filled with plenty of dough and bread, this was a full-bodied beer with a moderate amount of carbonation that was nicely balanced and had some deep forest in the aftertaste as my lips were sticky enough as a good amount of green and starfruit were left on my palate once this fully went down.

Plenty of booze in this as I warmed up enough well before finishing this off although it wasn't out of place in proportion to everything else. Dated 9/17 of last year with "WITH LOVE, ALBERT" written above it, the label on this wasn't the same as the one shown on here as I'd love to get a more recent can of this to review again. This wasn't a bad IPA, down to the lack of sediment in something this old. A bit less alcohol and I'd easily reach for another...

A clear golden with thin white head retention is decent fine bead
Smell has a citrus fruit scent in hops tropical with grapefruit like odor and faint malt with hint of yeast ester.
The feel ad flavor are both very good with mostly dry texture with moderate bitterness and light sweetness of malt supporting. The bitterness level is enjoyable with citrus and slight spice-like herbal quality yet fruity yeast is supprting the balance toward the hops
the overall taste is pretty outstanding for fresh local IPA I would recommend to anyone enjoys hop forward American Ipa's

Big haze. Dehydrated piss yellow. Smells of lemonheads, lemon grass. Peach. Tangerine. Guava. White bread. Flavors follow the nose with stone fruit being a large aspect. Peach, plumcot. Thin looking but feeling LARRRGE. Big mouthfeel. Great carbonation. Even mix of tropical and general citron. Slight lingering in the mouth. Numbing quality to it.

I’ve been looking at this one for a while and am not disappointed.
