Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a one finger tall white head, quickly dissipating to a thick film, leaving sticky rings of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smells of spicy and citric cascade hops along with some of the usual fresh cut grass aroma, faint hint of table sugar sweetness and plenty of pale malt. Taste is nearly identical with the strong cascade hops front and center followed the the accompanying flavors from the nose. Smooth, easy drinking feel with plenty of bitterness initially and a decent amount of dryness on the finish.
Overall a nice IPA. Fails to reach the heights of some of their other top notch IPA's like double cascade west shore but still nice on its own. Worth a shot if it's available to you.
