Thanks to CanConPhilly for this one, from NBS BIF #9. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. poured a lightly hazy pale yellow color with about an inch of white head that had low retention and good lacing.

The aroma was light grain, gentle hops, and low salt. Same on the tongue. the body was the typical light and crisp of the style, with a semi-dry finish. Drinkability was fine, the beer went down easily enough. Overall, a pretty typical example of the style. Want to try your first? This would be a good introduction.

L - 1.5 finger dense offwhite head atop a translucent yellow body.

S - salt, brown sugar, lime.

T - follows the nose. Sea salt and lime. A little bit of minerality, but it fades. Quite tart. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. No booziness.

F - medium-light body with appropriate carb.

O - very tasty. Would be even better on a warm day.

Appearance: Pours quite hazy and amber colored with a one inch head; decent retention and multiple strands of lace hang around

Smell: Lactic green apple and lemon tones with a salty edge

Taste: Lactic green apple and lemon forward; the salty aspect builds through the middle and is powerful, in the finish; the tart flavors are bold, as well

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat puckery

Overall: Approaching two years old so this beer may not be what it was when brewed; still, I thought it suffered from a lack of drinkability

Thanks, ArtAttackEd, for the opportunity

Haters' Tears pours a clear golden color, highly effervescent, with a huge yellow-tinted white head.

There's a strong aroma with barnyard funk and lemony sourness most prevalent. The lemon sourness and saltiness come on strong in the taste, with a touch of bready malt sweetness and some sour apple behind. It's light bodied with a very slightly sticky mouthfeel.

I'm a big fan of this brewery, and this brew's another solid one.

16 oz can poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.

Golden blonde with a head that fizzles out quickly. Good clarity with light carbonation.

Lemon, Lacto, granny smith apple, mineral water, and a slight funk.

A lemony Lacto sourness. Granny smith apple. Tangy wheat with a light funk. Big amounts of mineral water and fairly salt forward. Finishes with caramel and a bready maltiness with just a touch of cinnamon.

Light bodied, crisp, and tart.

This is a really nice Gose. More mineral water character than most with a moderate sourness.

5 bucks for the pounder makes me less of a hater never had a pizza boy brew and this seems legit. Hazy bright yellow amber in color with just a 1/4 inch of foam. Smells of malt and sea salt just tart smelling. WOW that is one salty gose I enjoy! Body is slightly dry but it goes down so smooth. Overall will pick up any offerings they are willing to bring to the house of 1,000 beers even though most are over priced.

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden. Pours chill hazed golden yellow with a half finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to nothing at all, leaving minimal to no lace on the sides of the glass.

Smells of pale malt, moderate mineral from the salt, some lemony lactic sourness and a touch of doughy yeast. Taste is quite tart up front mellowing quickly followed closely by the lemon twang, a decent amount of mineral salt (but hardly the most I have had from other US examples), some yeasty chewiness and a good amount of dryness on the finish. Tart, chewy feel could be a little better but it's decent enough.

Overall a pretty solid gose all things considered. It has plenty going for it and it is very easy drinking. Love that some people are saying its to salty, especially when less was used that normal. Oh well, hate on haters.

This is a really nice gose. Nice tartness and nice saltiness; slightly higher levels of tart and salt than your average gose. No coriander that I can detect.. Well carbed and slightly dry. Easy drinking too.

'salted with the tears of the entitled'

Haters' Tears is a very refreshing brew...a nice take on the gose style, with more salt than most

Golden color, almost off-putting smell, somewhat tart & very salty taste, easy to drink but not thin feeling in the least, a great gose (if even non traditional)
