Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into a snifter. The beer is my 1800th review hope the beer lives up to this ranking. I will be doing the bourbon barrel aged version soon for my list of reviews.
The beer pours a rich chocolatey brown color with a creamy tan head of 2 cm. The foam recedes slowly to a sturdy edge layer and a large island on the surface.
The aroma is lots of spice, with nutmeg and cinnamon and a lot of dark chocolate and some roasted malt notes. These really work well together. The nose is rich and enticing and really pulls me into the beer.
The first sip reveals a fairly thick body with very fine and tingly carbonation. The beer coats my palate with a bit of sticky covering.
The flavor is dark chocolate and some brown sugar mixing with roasted malt and some coffee grounds. This moves to the spices that I found on the nose with cinnamon and nutmeg taking over through the finish. I dont get any hops on this beer in flavor and the booze is well hidden even though it is on the higher end of the spectrum.
The burps carry the spices that are prolific on the flavor.
I find this beer to be a great mix of flavors that I admittedly was a slightly doubtful about when I received the can.
It is easy drinking for a bigger beer, a solid mix of not commonly together flavors and I find it to be very enjoyable.
Well worth it if you can get a can!

This one pours a fairly dark black, with a small head and a little bit of lacing.

This one smells like strong creamy coffee- heavy on the chocolate and caramel flavors. There's also slight roasted pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg.

Sunny Side Up is an exceptional coffee stout, and this is a very cool variant. The pumpkin pie spices mix very well with the gigantic coffee flavor. I know pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin-flavored coffee is super basic, but it works very well here. The coffee has gigantic chocolate flavors, with some caramel and a slight acidity, with works well with the creamy pumpkin flavors, and the cinnamon. There's also a hint of roast to round it all out.

This is super creamy, and pretty thick, with a good level of carbonation for the style.

This is honestly amazing. I'm surprised by how well this turned out.

My favorite pumpkin stout to date (not that I've had that many). Reminds me of Xocoveza without the heat. It's basically a thick, creamy coffee stout with spices and a hint of pumpkin.
