A full head never quite forms, rather just a thin veil of dark khaki froth that partially forms before subsiding... Color is a sleek flat black... A bit of light leaks in around the upper edge of the glass... Still... Nose is more subdued then expected and highlighted by notes of chocolate and fudge... I couldn't detect any of the coffee or pepper additions... Much more complexity develops on the palate... Complex, but nothing really sticks out... Subtle notes of chocolate cake and coffee...
The peppers build on the deep finish and linger a bit (a bit more with each sip)... Full bodied... Thick and slightly chewy... Sleek... A really interested brew and take on one of my favorite Pizza Boy brews...

16 ounce can.
Canned 10.18.21.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch light tan head over a near black body with some lacing.
Nose of roasted malt and coffee mostly with a bit of chocolate and a hint of cinnamon.
As it warms, a bit of cake dough is noticeable.
Taste is where the spice comes forward with the peppers and cinnamon really making themselves known!
Very tasty!
Feel is good with a finish of heat and chocolate.
Overall, this is quite delicious and would recommend to everyone.
Cheers to Floyd for the hookup!
