Pours an attractive near black with a two inch mochs head that leaves behind a little lace, poured near room temperature canned on 4/3/17.

Smell is roasty coffee beans, vanilla, dark chocolate, molasses, and a little bourbon.

Taste follows very roasty expresso, vanilla, deep dark chocolate, molasses, and just a little bourbon.

Mouthfeel is almost medium, moderate amount of life, definitely a bit dry, and drinks easy enough at its ABV.

Overall this is a very nice beer, a little thinner than I prefer, but really a all around good brew. Thanks @jzeilinger for this one.

Fantastic beer. Lots of coffee in both the nose and in the taste, like an iced coffee or something. Virtually no heat despite the relatively high ABV, and the finish is a very sophisticated dark chocolate. Fairly light for the style, and dangerously drinkable. Just great all the way around!

Appears almost black. Cannot see through. Not much Head to speak of but solid ring of foam around the edge that lingers.

Smell is simply delicious. Coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste is similar with more emphasis on roasted qualities. As it warms, a slight whiskey-like note comes out in both taste and smell. Feel is creamy but not super heavy. Overall...delicious. Would definitely drink again.

Growler into pint glass. Pours an oily, viscous, opaque black with a fine-bubbled tan head that dissipates quickly. Initial impression is coffee (strong but not really bitter) followed by chocolate (darkish but again not really bitter). Mouthfeel is lighter than I would've guessed from the pour. Carbonation is light. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Finish is smooth and dry, with just a touch of alcohol warming following. And speaking of warming, let it sit for a bit. Brings out the flavors even more.
My first Pizza Boy beer - but certainly not my last!

12oz snifter on tap at Fourth Street BBQ in Charleroi PA:

Look: Pours an amazing jet black with a nice tan head of about an inch with lacing!

Smell: Tons of coffee notes right off the bat! Also hints of chocolate, vanilla, and maybe some oats! Aroma is killer!

Taste: Huge coffee notes dominate! Not overly bitter like some coffee beers can be! Also some notes of chocolate coming through! This beer tastes amazing and the high ABV is so well hidden! Soo smooth!

Feel: Medium to heavy bodied! Great mouthfeel!

Overall: Amazing double coffee stout from the crew at Pizza Bpy! This is one of the best coffee stouts out there that I have ever had! High ABV is soo well hidden! I highly recommend picking some of this up if available!

Consumed from Crowler shared by Will. Pretty much black pour with good coffee scent coming through. Initial taste of a decent coffee brew that then turned South. On the back end of each sip, I was met with a very unpleasant metallic aftertaste. Others sharing this did not pick up on this, so not sure if it was just me. Will definitely re-review if given another chance.
