Received in a proxy/trade hybrid from @turkeysdrinkbeer in February 2022. Drunk in November of that year.

L: It's definitely a pretty-looking stout: black with the slightest brown tinge to it. The thin covering of foam is cappuccino coloured. There are small clumps of sediment in the beer and fine-bubbled carbonation can be seen leaping off them before shooting up the glass.

S: Milky coffee is the strongest aroma. I also pick up some roast as well as my weird perception of raspberry and cola that it seems only I get with stouts.

T: As with the smell, sweet milk coffee is the overwhelming impression. That taste lasts right through the swallow and lingers in the long, sweet finish to the beer. I get my usual cola and raspberry vibes, of course, as well as a pleasant warmth from the alcohol.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and full. Carbonation is mild.

I: This is a nice, if sweet, beer. It never trips over the line into cloying territory, but it certainly looks at it and contemplates the leap. I'm not sure I could drink a second of these without something to freshen my palate in between, but at 9 5%, this clearly isn't meant to be something you drink in bulk.

Cheers!

Poured out a dark brown-black color with a foamy tan head.
Smell was of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla.
Taste for me was that of coffee, chocolate and the vanilla.
Smoothly goes down with every swallow.

I would definitely drink this one again.

Compliments of PA-Michigander. Thanks. Aroma has a sweetness to it so that I thought I was getting coffee with sugar in this beer, but no sugar in the taste. Nice mouthfeel. The 10% abv is well hidden.

L- pitch black pour with 1 finger head, dissipating quickly

S- sweet coffee, good roast

T- coffee for days, a strong and sweet coffee note. Very pleasing

F- medium to full. Oatmeal lends a silky smooth mouthfeel.

O- an excellent double coffee stout. Will absolutely purchase again whenever available. Reminds me of Big Bad Baptist from Epic Brewing.

Can it be so? Two favorite breakfast items combined into one stout. This one, poured from a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass, is as black as a stout can get. Yet, the modest and enduring head is only a light shade of tan. There's a tremendous hit of roasted coffee to the nose. The taste is much more balanced, with the roasted malt and oatmeal adding a likeable sweetness not picked up by the nose. There is also a 10% ABV to consider. It's not harsh, but it contributes to the overall sweetness and helps the finish move towards dry. This is a good Imperial Stout, Coffee Stout and Oatmeal Stout, respectively. Certainly a sipper, as no one should want to down sixteen ounces of this quickly. This is a go for the gusto brew and it mostly works. A very strong coffee flavored stout, softened just a bit by oats, which also contribute to a smooth body. Also sweet, but not overly malty, so the coffee and oatmeal may share in the contributions to the taste. Caveat: If you have more than one, you'll probably nap through lunch.

Coffee Stout and Russian Imperial Stout's are my wheel house and Little Amps Double Coffee was a pleasant surprise. I drank two glasses and left with a growler. I'm also very please with Al's of Hampden and I'll surely return as I only live 10 minutes away.

Had on tap at the brewery. Served in a clear coffee cup, which I thought was funny but maybe didn't help highlight the aroma. Not much head, but cup was filled to the brim so it may have been poured like that on purpose. Fortunately, this beer was able to overcome. Rich, thick, chocolaty, and lots of coffee. Nose is a bit earthy with the coffee, but the flavor has residual sweetness and the mouthfeel is really full. Not quite a dessert stout, but certainly around that breakfast stout area. I'd love to be able to sit at the brewery and drink this on a regular basis
