A - Slightly less than two fingers worth of crisp, bone white colored and slightly lop-sided froth... The color is a very pale cranberry red... A moderate bit of random moderate paced carbonation... Looks light and refreshing...

S - The tartness is muted, but still at the forefront... The raspberry presence is slightly muted and not as sweet as expected... A subtle bit of funkiness... Quite pleasant, with lots of subtle nuance...

T - Sweet raspberries... The tartness is rather subdued... Some light granulated sugary elements... Simple and straight forward... Real nice layers of flavor and complixity in such a light beer...

M - Light bodied... Slightly sleek... Mostly smooth... Perhaps ever so slightly a bit thin... Spritzy carboantion... Slightly juicy... Even and consistent...

D - Good things do indeed come in small packages... Lots of flavor and character in this 3% ABV offering... Not the best American Wild Ale, but a completely approachable, sessionable and fun version of the style... Another job, very well done, by Pizza Boy...

Poured from a growler into a Delirium tulip

A- pours a brilliant ruby red with a one finger pink head. Clarity on this one is perfect. As is the case with most sours, the head faded quickly. Gorgeous beer.

S- nice raspberry aroma comes through. Not overly pungent, but still worthwhile

T- starts off with a nice smash of raspberries, getting more and more tart as you go. Tastes like a Warhead. Incredible

M- light bodied, on the medium side. Well done

O- you want this. It's a bit pricey all things considered, but this is a phenomenal sour.

Tried this at Pizza Boy.

Appearance: presented a color of cranberry juice cocktail. No head and no lacings present and beer was very transparent.

Smell: primarily picking up raspberry tartness. It almost smells like a fruit wine.

Taste: the beer starts dry and finishes dry. Taste raspberries which lends a very earthy taste. It's sour with that lactic acid at the finish. Minus the sourness, it's like drinking a dry fruit wine. This beer is quite unique how it lends a more earthiness rather than sweetness of the fruit.

Mouthfeel: light bodied mouthfeel with a punch of sourness.

Overall: this is one of the driest sours I've had. It's really good and definitely worth trying considering how the raspberries are presented in this beer. Aside from the beer, Pizza Boy is awesome; it is a must visit!

On tap at Pizza Boy.

Clear, ruby-red pour, topped with a half inch or so of fluffy pink-white head, which sank fairly quickly to a thin layer of bubbles; no real lacing to speak of. Aroma was raspberry, of course, lactic, slight grassy funk, some candy sweetness. Taste of fresh, non-artificial raspberries, happily tart, seeds and all, lactic, slightly acetic, notes of lemon and grass, with a light funk. Light-medium body, crisp and slightly puckering mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, easily drinkable. Nice overall.
